Whoah.

I had absolutely no clue they were having a Pirates of the Carribean world. Looks like some girls will be completely flipping out about the idea of having Johnny Depp in your party. (Which hopefully you'll be able to. Can you imagine that? Sora and Captiain Jack Sparrow!)
I'm even more excited for this game than ever now. Man...I also completely forgot that Pirates of the Carribean were Disney.

I'm also really looking foward to the Mulan world. That movie was amazing. ^__^

Kairi and Selphie. That's an older Kairi in the trailer on Destiny Islands.

The game is gonna be awesome. I bought CoM when I was in the US (didn't come out until like 3 months later here) and have almost finished Reverse Rebirth. I've been following KH2 for like a year or two now, and CoM before it came out. I get the newsletter from KH2.net

The Gummi Ship looks awesome, as does Mulan's World, Pirates of the Carribean, Fabled Countryside, Ancient Greece and the Underworld. And the new re-action fighting system they've created sounds like fun. And the Drive Gauge, which allows Sora to fuse with another character. (Eg. Sora + Goofy = Brave (red) Form, with two keyblades) So awesome!!

And the BHK and his friends in Twilight Town!!!
And....
And....

I'll shut up now. I'm rambling a bit. Got overly excited.
My bro and I are gonna pre-order this (it's coming out at the same time all over the world, which is at the end of the year/beginning of next year), as well as the LoZ: Twilight Princess and FFXII

Pray to the lord this is a two-disc set. For Kevco Bosonysi "The Game Slayer" polishes his PS2 wireless controller again!!! Mwahahah!

For some odd reason in the back of my brain I recall someone mentioning two disks and KH2 in the same sentence.

But maybe it was just a rumor?
Well, however many discs there are, this game looks utterly amazing! *throws on Kingdom Hearts T-shirt* I hope there are Moogles in it! Heheee.

EDIT: According to the GameSpot Forums about KH2...
Q: Is this game going to be in two discs?
A: That is yet to be determined. Nomura kept on leaving clues that that is the case since KH2 is 2.5 times bigger than the first game. It seems very likely, IMO.

Is there a general period of time like season/ month/ decade that this game will come out?

Sometime in 2005. My guess is during the Christmas season, like CoM was, to increase profits.

I haven't been looking forward to any game as much as this one. I wish they'd just tell us the release date so I can start counting the days.

Well, Square-Enix loves to torture it's fans. Just as we are almost ready to hear a date, they tell us it's delayed. Like FF XII. Only they know if it ever comes out. But when it does, it was probably worth the wait for a really great game.
