I hate silence. I'm always afraid that someone will just make a really loud noise randomly and scare me. Not a phobia, though.

And I can't let anybody touch me anywhere except my hands. I don't know why. If someone tries to touch my arm or something, I'll pull it away. (Unless it's like my family wanting to hug me or something...I've gotten used to that.) Don't think that's a phobia either.

These aren't really phobias, but I'm scared of any insect besides butterflies and moths. I'm also scared of, oddly enough, jellyfish. Although, I did ask my mother if it was possible to keep jellyfish in a fish tank. I thought it'd be cool to keep a jelly fish.

I'm also terrified of the unknown. I don't know why. Insects and stuff, I think, more creep me out than scare me, but I'm literally terrified of the unknown. I was in a funhouse in Chicago, and I knew it wasn't real, but I was literally TERRIFIED. I had a death grip on my mother's arm, because I didn't know what would happen. Although, if I went through it again, I would have been fine.

I don't think my fear of the unknown is a phobia, because I don't freeze up or freak out of whatever. I haven't run across a true to life phobia yet. I pride myself on not being phobic.

Well, I'm afraid of mysterious things that I can feel but have never happened before. Like, right now, I can actually feel my pulse on top of my head. In my hair. AGH!!!!

I am extremely scared by vacuum cleaners, ankles, and Idontknowhattheyarecalled. Those things on the street that water goes into, they lead to the sewers.

I used to hate going into public bathrooms by myself. I was always scared that when I flushed the toilet and opened the door there would be some freaky person standing there, and the humming noise didn't help. I still have to open the door before I flush the toilet. I also used to be scared of a portrait of some dead relative next to the computer. I was about 7 or 8, and I was scared it would wiggle it's ears at me.

I also used to be afraid of public bathrooms, though for a different reason. I would never want to flush the toilet, because I had this irrational fear that it would explode. Thankfully, that particular phobia disappeared at about age eight.
