Every two months, neopets comes out with a new expansion for the TCG. That what all the plots are revolved around now. Do you with that we could have a polt not associated with a TCG? Heck, I don't even know anyone who plays the TCG. Its useless in my sense.

"duh" was the first thing to come to mind. :P Sorry.

I think its sad.. Even Magic the Gathering only releases one every 6 months, not every two.. and atleast there is a player base for Magic, were as Neopets TCG I've not seen anyone playing in a long while.

I collect the TCG cards, but I don't play the game. The fact that they release a new expansion every two months is annoying, because for every release I have more cards to collect. I've barely begun buying Curse of Maraqua booster packs and the Lost Desert expansion is already out. :x

I've never played, but from the demo, it looks just too complex. Tapping? It doesn't have the pick up and play factor, of say, Pokémon did have. That was simple, but you could develop it it. Maybe there isn't a fan base because of this?

Anyway, yeah, they release a lot, but I like the art work ;)

We've played on occasion because we love card games (M:TG <3 ), but I mostly just collect. There are too many expansions coming out way too quickly. I know they want to cash out on something that's momentarily hot, but come on now. When a booster box is like $80 and new expansions come out every two months, that's asking a bit much, don't you think?

It'd be a bit nicer if you didn't have the chance of getting crap like 1/3 omelette and 1 np from the virtual prize code cards.

You can buy the individual booster packs for $4-5, I think (which is a ridiculous price for 8 cards as it is), but I buy the booster box since I try to collect them all anyway.

I actually do play the game. BUt, yeah, two months makes the plots all rushed, and if you don't mind me saying so, CoM wasn't the most original storyline in the world.

I tried to play the Neopets card game once, and it just wasn't too fun. (Maybe because we only had the starter box thing.) But it seems they're going too far with it, and it doesn't have that much of a fan base anyway.

I only collect them (no one I know is interested in playing...not even me). It's annoying that they release cards so quickly because I can't complete my collection.

I've never even seen the TCG sold in stores, and I visit a card shop every Friday to play M:tG. From what I've seen on the news and from the plots, it looks like Neopets is just burning itself out with the whole TCG deal.

Personally I don't see the point of the TCG... its just bits of pictures on printed paper...

Well, we've only played with the basic set and it was kind of fun for a small time. I'm sure it'd be more fun if we used expansion cards, but there are so many out now, we just kept editing our decks when new cards came out, then got tired of it all.

Pardon my uber smartness... but none of you can count. The last TCG expansion they released was in February. March... April... May... June... that's 4 months, folks.

And I concur. They should just drop plots altogether. It's not like they make for fun on the site. [/sarcasm]
