Yesterday, plesio plushies were selling at about 30-50K. It is a rarity 89 and a somewhat newly released plushie. Now it seems that someone bought up all of the plesio plushies from the shop wiz yesterday. Earlier today, his TP message said he was selling it for 20 million. Now, he has changed it and says that he wants to buy more of them at 3.5 million (fat chance that will happen).

Same thing happened a few weeks back with the hubrid nox badge.

So a word of warning from a plushie collector, rarity 89 plushies are NEVER worth millions. Not even a million. Not even a tenth of a million.

The scam is that another account (probably owned by the same person, however) will offer it up for trade for something of real value, like MPs, pricey BD items, PB's, and point to the trading post to show that it must be valuable. And gets the poor person to trade something actually worth millions for a plushie that, in reality, is only worth 30K.

Beware!

It's no wonder nobody can afford anything anymore! It's those kinds of people that are creating the rift between the mega rich and everyone else. :x

And then TNT freezes them, locking the inflated items in that account, therefore making the inflation real. If someone is frozen for inflating certain items, than ALL of their items should just be pushed through to the money tree. Leaving them unfrozen is probably better than TNT freezing them in this case, as then the plushies have a chance to be sold off later on. *shrugs*

I agree with you, winter. Several months back, there was a new plushie collector who just happened to get almost every rarity 98 and 99 plushie within a matter of weeks. He was the only one out there with a couple of the rarity 99 plushies. Then the account was frozen for multi-accounting. So, he opened another account and did the same thing. Once again, frozen a few weeks later with tons of super rare plushies that I would give my eye teeth for. Then he had the nerve to try it again! And, was frozen a few weeks later. It was quite obvious that this guy was doing something wrong because he was getting way too many rarity 98's and 99's too quickly. And, I know it was the same guy because his user lookup and shop background were quite memorable and each new username was a variation of the first one.

Oh, that irks the crud out of me. Because all of those plushies are sitting on ice while those of us honest plushie collectors can't scrape up the 10 million needed to buy one of the remaining ones out there.

I really hate it when people do this, it's just another scam that tries to take your np away. I agree, the shame is that when these people are reported to TNT and then frozen, the items are lost forever. But TNT must realise what's happening, and the fact that by freezing them in this situation they aren't solving anything. At least, I hope they realise... But this is happening a lot recently, they've got to do something about this.

What are these people thinking ?! By doing these, at most a dozen will get affected... Not much a benefit.. However, a few hundred or thousands will be at a disadvantage.. This is just absurb....
