I'm getting that a lot when posting on the neoboards. This happening to anyone else?

Was trying to advertise my lupe there, but having to refresh a lot of times to get the page to show is getting annoying.

I haven't been on the site too much today. As usual being a holiday weekend with the more than normal rl activities that accompany that, we have a friend who's breaking up with her bf and is having a meltdown - and staying here -- on top of everything else.

Anyway, on topic (sorry) ... I got that alot, and I mean alot! last night. It drove me crazy. The pages were taking forever to load, then I'd get that server messge. I'm used to the refresh one, the server one almost sounds like something's being updated/moved/added. Has to happen on a weekend and on a holiday, right?

Happens to me. I was just on the boards. I suppose it's from the multitudes of people on boards; you can see tons of boards created within seconds.

Maybe due to the increased population at the boards, the boards lag more than the rest of the site.

gah, tried to post here, page wouldn't open, then did open and got a page saying PPT couldn't be found!

I was on the site a short time ago, all the petpages are (or at least were) completely down. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that this is just a little hiccup ... I checked and for some bizarre reason I hadn't saved my pages. So if they're cleared/reset me and alot of other people are in a world of hurt trying to recreate them.

Bottom line - something's going on on the site.

Pet pages are still down. *grumble*

Petpages down? That could explain this error that is keeping me from abandoning a pet. I was going to post it in the screenie thread, but it probably belongs here more.

Just found out petpages and the pound are back UP! Big thanks to TNT

I just went and did a quick copy and paste of my petpages to notepad. At least now I do have them saved. Whew!

I'm glad they fixed the pet pages problem. I was afraid I'd have to wait until Monday when they get back to work

Yeah it appeared anything with the petpages.neopets got the server error. I had a BC link that went to petpages.neopets. That got the error, but replacing it with http://www.neopets worked.

Makes it hard to vote for difficult species without having the option to go to their pet pages.

I like to see if they upload a less compressed version of their BC entry. Sometimes in difficult decisions, that can make the difference between me voting or not voting for them.

Also sometimes I get suspicious of entries that are awsome art and the pet page and userlook-up have nothing other than the default or no other art from that user.

It's a bit harsh to be suspicious of people for that, I know a few awesome artists who have been in the AG or won the BC numerous times that have no art anywhere on their lookup or petpages. Some people just don't feel the need to put their art up places, especially when they've experienced art theft.

No I don't report entries unless I know they are stolen for sure. Sorry if that sounded harsh. I didn't mean too sound that way. But I have seen it happen that people create accounts less than a week old and take an entry.

I had that happen to one of my rukis. Someone took my picture and entered it in the contest.

But I do look to see if they have any trophies in the ag or bc with any of their other pets too. Also I look to see if they have a deviant art account.

Hmm...I'm having trouble with NeoQuest 2 as well. I'm on the www server, I dunno if that's the problem or what, but I'm going to try switching to another one.

Edit: I've tried petpages, home, www, and no prefix, but so far none of them make the errors any better.

It could be either their server is overloaded, or theres some work being done. I haven't been on much today so far because of real life activities, but I've noticed the server error ever so often. Last night ie would load neopets, but not opera.
Today it seems to be happening to the deviant art and nutrinpet server too. I don't know. Maybe ie or the internet is having problems.
