As soon as I saw Bono's picture, I thought, "Chass". You like U2 far too much for your own good.

I almost concussed myself once when I was 6 because I ran into a wardrobe. I was trying to get into Narnia...

It's credited to AFI_Sorrow, but I was actually the one who said it

You know, I despise chatspeak more than most people, but I really do disagree on how poor spelling/punctuation/grammar=stupidity. It doesn't. In some cases, yes, but in most, it's just people not wanting to bother with typing out long sentences and such. As a result, they use abbreviations. Yes, changing things like 'cool' to 'kewl' is stupid- it doesn't solve any length problems- and it really doesn't look cool.
But for the most part, people just don't want to use proper grammar. I mean, it's not considered kewl at all. Um. I mean cool.

That article was very informative, haha. I've always wondered what Bono's real name was...
Sure, I'm not really a U2 fan, but hey, at least it killed half an hour of my time (it took that long to edit it...I don't even write essays that long!).

Oh, I know that. I just wanted to point that out, as most people who don't use/are against chatspeak tend to think that chatspeak automatically equals stupidity. It doesn't.

Unless of course they go pure chatspeak on you. Then you begin to question their sanity. Especially if they aren't PPTers. But I do have to agree. Things like "Do U G2G soon?" are just shortenings. They don't imply idiocy. Unless they begin misspelling the chatspeak...
