Is there a certain place thats good to level up at?
Every time I venture out I get destroyed because 5 or 6 enemies surrounded me.
I'm also having trouble finding someone to party with.

solo is better than party cuz solo has more exp and the party cuts out the exp. well for level 1-8 is the maple island, and level 6-10 is victoria island.

I haven't spent the skill points given to me when I became one, and was wondering what they should go towards.

double stab if you want to be bandit or lucky seven if you want to be assassin.

I have 5 strengh and 6 dexterity for my mage, should that affect game play too much?

I'm really enjoying the game so far

mages should have high INT and half luck and low strength, buf you can add strength if you want to use a mace.

I haven't added any, it was what I got when rolled the dice.

I don't really get the idea behind MP Increase, what is its use? So you get more MP when you put AP into it? I heard you should not do that.

that's only when you have improving max MP increase. i added AP on my MP cuz i was like somewhere near 1k or 2k.

Awww, that's a shame. Are you still following the path of a Cleric?

Which guide did you follow? *doesn't hope to make the same mistake, even though he is Lit/Ice* What was the problem?

I was reading the party cleric guide, and was told to max energy bolt beacuse I'd only be using it as a self defence weapon and stuff.

Apparently, magic claw is the better choice because of it's ability to go through objects.

I'm only level 11, now. I kept my Level 24 mage just to use as a mule, and to fame people.

I think I'll restart too, 5 and 6 seem too high and I *secretly* spent a point on HP when I began... *breaks down* I didn't know what I was doing! I'll need to get my equipment across and Mesos too

I worked hard at the level 17 magician, but I want it to be as good as it can be.

So many people are rude though... if you are fighting in a crowded area, like the Heneseys training area, fire a bolt and kill someone elses monster by accident, they instantly roar 'KSer' at you, or 'New Member'. It's only a few EXP...

Also, I'm not sure about your problem Dranzer, I'm not good with computers.

Maybe it has to do with your resoulution or something.

Also Pixa, if you restart, add me so that I can help you level to 8.

It's amazingly hard to get there as a mage when your hitting on average about 3 damage.

I don't think I can help you with your problem, but I was casually browsing and found some threads which may help you a bit.

Oh, and talking about the hidden-street.net guides, I don't really like the builds on most of the mage guides.

Some of the guides master MP Increase way too late, around 23 or so if I remember correctly. Others suggest maxing out magic armor rather than magic guard.

Also, I don't think it makes a difference whether or not you max mp recovery before maxing out claw, so I like taking the max claw first route because you can go to green/horned mushrooms at level 20 or so.

Yah, but maxing it early saves you a bunch of money on pots.
