Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
This particular fact is true. But is a minor coincidence compared to the fact that none of their failed attempts were 100 years apart and their election to senate dates were different.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
There's only an election every 4 years! Plus, Kennedy was killed in his first term whereas Lincoln was killed in his second...
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

You could argue that all the presidents have been 50-70 and thus it's not strange really.

Once again, this is just plain wrong. Booth was born in 1838.
