I really enjoyed the U2 article, I've liked U2 for many years and my uncle got to see them down at Live 8 in London. I still prefer their older stuff though, heh.

Not really. The writer writes. The editor edits.
And it's a very mild and not incredibly important mistake, at that. The meaning still gets across.
