Right now I'm halfway through an Economist for extemp, and I'm reading music for a couple five hours a day. Mmmm, band camp.

What am I reading? Well, I've finally gotten 'round to reading Eragon- so far, it's good, though I can definitely see how parts of it are similar to other books. Not that I really care, at this point, as it's good. As long as I don't see, "And Eragon gasped, for there, hiding among the trees, were his parents, Harry and Hermione Potter...", I'll be happy. Ron and Hermione Weasley, though...

Anyway, I suppose I should get back to reading it- otherwise I'll drive myself mad with insane theories.

I read Eragon and I was under the impression that it's a kiddified version of Tolkien and Anne McCaffrey's love child. *barf*

I've just finished the latest Harry Potter and I'm writing my own book.

Liber Chaotica: Nurgle.
an indepth study into the dark god Nurgle, made by a now, very suffering priest.
(tis a fiction book written in the stylings of a priest who is researching the dark gods of chaos, by this volum (three of five) he has gone rather nuts, and has gone to scribbling notes across much of the tome, in small red writing. making it nigh-on-impossible to read.

I just finished Dead Beat, the latest book in Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files series. Ironically it's another series about a wizard named Harry (though I believe it's quite coincidental). It's kind of like Harry Potter except there is no school, it's more adult themed, and it takes place in Chicago. But the mystery and the action and the magic and the witty writing is still there. Out of the six books so far Dead Beat is now my favorite. Hooray for fallen angel demons, necromancers, and polka lovers named Butters.

The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver

It's my summer reading for school. It's actually really good. So far, just having started today, I've read all of the first section.

I'm actually reading the Economist right now....
