Well, im officially the webmaster for the drama club... and for the last few years, our website looked like this....

Our highschool.
drama club....

we like to do stuff... and there are two guys and a few chicks running it.
This year, we are thinking about doing these plays: (outdated)

ok, so i want new, EXCITING content for the website, like fan fiction, show reviews, lyrics, and other things.... and one idea i had, was that since so many of us use aim and stuff... im making AIM icons based on famous theater plays (mostly musicals)
So..... for those of you who ARENT into theater stuff, just accept them for what they are.... ill try to explain them a bit.... you might not get them.

If you ARE into theater..... im sure youll love most of these.

Musical: Rent
My first attempt at trying one... so it sucks. but it advertises the movie somewhat.... it shows two of the main charactors, one who is documentary guy with a video camera, and one who plays a guitar. (mark and roger)



Musical: Phantom of the Opera
This one was hard because i forgot that i had to make it loop... so i tried to just make it look like the phantom was stroking and it slowed it down a second...... yeah, it shows the phantom rowing his girlfriend to his secret lair. mwhahaha. stalker.


Musical: Hello Dolly
im sure many of you havent heard of this musical, but my friends at i love it..... this one had Dolly Levi and Barnaby sitting in the background, watching cornelius hackle learning to dance, and then falling. *usually he crashes into something or trips. whatever. its cute*

I'm assuming this is borderline for the forums... its a joke from a musical, and doesnt have anything really bad in it.. just the word. If its unnacceplte, please remove it, but i think it's ok, right?

Musical: Avenue Q
Avenue Q is Sesame Street with a South Park attitude.... so you get the picture.... so the girl puppet, is trying to sing about the internet, when Trekkie monster *the cookie-monster like character* pops in and starts singing about how the internet is only for.... human contact media.



Musical: Spamalot
Spamalot is a musical that was written based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail.... same story. This shows the knights in the song "Run away!" (which is the same scene that has the french fighting a battle with cattle).... i like this one, because it was hard to animate the flashing AND having one guy jumping in confusion, king arthur being stepped on, one guy running across the screen, and one guy moving back and forth... as well as a cow falling... *so theres King arthur, his Patsy, Lancealot, and Sir Robin.

what do you think? i tried to make them original and fun, and keep the same traditional "AIM buddy icon" look.....
Im going to make more.... i can only make them so fast... these are just the first 5 i made.

I need to haord them ALL! All! *dies* lovethemIlovethem! Especially the hello dolly and avenue Q ones....hilarious. (I want to see 'everyone's a little bit racist' from avenue Q....only I don't think the forums would like it...)

Haha! Those are great I especially like the Phantom one, how people can do such intricate small things is beyond me =)

if you want to use them for YOUR aim icon, feel free.... not your friends though. They have my name for a reason. IF you friends want to know where they came from... tell them! And im glad somebody else knows about hello dolly. thank god.

I was thinking of doing a everyones a little bit racist one, but there isnt much animation to do.... if i do one, its just going to be Christmas eve singing her part *with the text showing on the icon* or maybe "Blian! You take out recyclabers!"

Awww, those are all very adorable! I especially love the Phantom of the Opera one. ^__^ (And by the way, my cousin played Dolly in her high school's performance of Hello Dolly. )
