or push me down the stairs again...
electrocute me...
thinking about it, i should hide the keys to the shed and the contained nail gun and buzz saw.
older siblings that are in their late twenties are downright malicious.

Well it's been spoiled for me.. boohoo... boohoo....
Seriously though... I know what the 'big' spoiler is, don't read the harry potter books (couldn't get into them), but I'm sure I'd be PO'd if I did and it was spoiled for me.

I did read something where someone specified a character although I still do not know if it was indeed the truth and the one that dies in the book. I'm not too worried about it anyways, I don't have any plans to read it in the next few weeks so its more than likely that I'll know before I get around to reading it, it just so happens it happened sooner rather than later.

I found the death of the character in OotP to be an anti-climax, I didn't have any real attachment to the character and the scene was just so frank, I don't think I really felt anything - I assume this one will be much the same, I could be wrong but *shrugs* It was much the same as the battle for the ring and the following death at the end of LotR, I guess some authors just can't write about death in such a way that strikes me (personally) emotionally.

Well, the rumours were right.

Mon Jul 18, 2005 9:57 am

No, I hid from every Harry Potter fan I knew until I finished it. XD

Mon Jul 18, 2005 3:39 pm

No, no one did. I wouldn't even care if they did anyway. *not huge Harry Potter fan* :P

Not REALLY. I stayed off most HP spoilers and HP rumours most of the time but times like now it's really difficult. You get the spoilers ready to pounce and attack you any time and you're just this little thing running around without knowing anything. *puts on shield* I told people throught my blog not to ruin it for me or I'll beat them up :P

The newspapers here nearly did, luckily I am not that capable of translating the chinese names back into English ^^;

Yeah, i was going to the PPT thread, since i didn't think anyone would be that far in the book, but it turned out there were people who were done. and they spoiled it. curse you fast readers. *shakes fist at them*

Unfortunately, yes...

I go to an MtG forum, the night before, and someone posted in spoiler tags, and before I knew what I was looking at, it turned out they posted, but by the time it came in the book, it was obvious he was gonna die anyways.

Name of Character who Dies - [Some Manacost]
Creature - [Stuff]
Sacrifice Name of Character who Dies: Spoil the plot of the 6th book
[Some Stats]

I hate people... :x

My Older brother drove by the release party and screamed "InsertName DIES!"

was a bit of a let down...

I haven't read the book yet, but I've got it all spoilt through the spoiler thread in the Library and all those LJ posts out there. Not like I mind, but I couldn't resist. :P

:( It was spoiled for me... my friend told me when I was on MSN, they read around for spoilers, I was pretty annoyed.

My aim, which I acheived, was to finish it during the weekend, as I knew it would be ruined at school. Luckily, I did, because people were shouting about it in History.

Meh, I kinda knew what happened, but people thought it could have been someone else too.

Tue Jul 19, 2005 7:17 pm

Nope, don't read Harry Potter.

I'm surprised it was spoiled on a MtG site though. XD Actually... not really.

Wed Jul 20, 2005 2:43 am

Nope, I sort of secluded myself for the time it took me to read the book. :)

Wed Jul 20, 2005 5:28 pm

1. I became completely reclusvie as I read the book
2. I read it faster than everybody else around me so I was the one who had to worry about spoiling it for them (I tried to get people to pay me not to tell them though).
