Oh, I know she's everywhere, I just find it hilarious how people were like 'chill out and get a boyfriend' and then...she did.

Ahh, youngins. =)

You're not gonna find much of anything that has any substance (or quality) easily. Try finding people with good taste and taking advantage of the copious space Gmail offers it's users. Convince people to send you their music so you can start stacking up on some more obsecure (but far superior to anything you'll hear elsewhere) tunes.

Aswell, if you like more angsty, emo music. Check out Nightwish. Good band with a female lead who was once in Opera. Oh yes, and Metric as well. Combat Baby & Dead Disco are pretty great.

I would recommend Nightwish as well. Another band similar to Nightwish would be Evanescence as well, it's not an all girl band but the lead singer is a female.

I also recommend Amy Lee and the Pretty Instruments in the Background, too.

Softball is an all-girl Japanese band, though I find it very hard to find information or songs by them anywhere. They're great though, very catchy fun songs that are great for those random bouncy moods.

The reason it needs to be fairly easy to find is because I'm 11, so its kind of hard for me to buy music without my moms permission...

The only girl bands I can think of would be Girls of Grace, BarlowGirl and ZOEgirl, but I dunno if you're a Christian or not. I don't think they're too hard to find. I know they are all kind of popular, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to walk in a store and pick up one of their CDs...

Never mind.

It just amuses me that she became sort of a modern feminist icon for man-bashing girls of our generation, and then softened up after she got a boyfriend. After people had been saying 'yeesh, she just needs to get herself a boyfriend and calm down'. Heh.

It amuses me, too.
