New Chain Letter?

While lurking in the message boards I have seen a new chain letter about a corpse or something, I don't remember what it said, exsactly, something along the lines "___ died, and if you don't put this is 10 message boards by the next hour a corpse will tap you on the back and suck out your soul" It's kind on creepy *shivers*

Grrrr. Chain letters are teh evil. I've only got one once in my very long NeoHistory, but still...it was annoying.
All the more reason to blow up the Neoboards all together.

i promptly signed the emailer up to every dodgy site i could come across with a cursery search

my hatred of those jerks aside, its rather pathetic.

Hmm, sounds a little like that Jenny? (think was the name) chain that resurfaced after so many years after people saw The Ring (it had just been on HBO and apparently everyone watched it). The boards were nuts! Between all the people who sat and watched the movie then were crying and begging their parents to take the tv out of their room, a website that had a "spooky" picture and this goofy chain letter about a dead girl (that went with the site), it was a rough few days.

Yeah, there was one night when people were posting a pic from rotten.com of a (real) dead body. Fortunately (I guess) most of the kids thought it was fake. Amazing, how movies and TV makes them jaded like that.

I loathe chain mail. I really hate the one that goes "this email is being used to track email forwarding, and when it reaches 1000 people, they all get to go to disneyworld for free."

Oooh. I hate that. And those mushy "little timmy has temrminal cancer and the only thing that will make him happy is if you FW this message to 10 people." I REALLY hate those.
