Mine just goes dingalingaling. I've never understood the need for ringtones, but then I don't understand colorful wristwatches, either.

I don't put a ringtone on it. I usually have it on vibrate or silent most of the time, cause usually when I have it with me, its in a place where it needs to be quiet, like a theatre or a movie.
I signed in to my account at 11:03 pm on Mon Jan 05, 2009. My last visit beforehand was Thu Dec 01, 2005 at 10:26 pm. Um....wow.

Before I WASHED MY CELL PHONE (evil jeans =( I screwed up. Bah.) it was 'bubbles.' Which is a cool bubbly ring tone on my phone.

Same here! If I'm at home whoever calls me uses the house phone, that way I don't end up with the wrath of my mom at the end of the month when the bill comes. When it's off vibrate, it's some ringtone thing that came preloaded on the phone, not a song or anything.

Cellphones are evil. Ergo ringtones are the lower level downloadable minons of evil.

Mine is on Bubbles as well. It's a kinda cool tune, except it's barely audible in many places. Eh well. I rarely turn on my phone though, and it's even more rare that someone calls me. I usually only just call my parents to pick me up.

My sister and I tried the downloading ringtones thing- some Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, Counting Crows. Never really liked it myself, but she's stuck with her Counting Crows "Accidentally In Love" tune.

Mine's Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard. :)

Although, 80% of the time I have it on vibrate anyways. When it's in my purse, I can feel the phone vibrate but it's very rare if I can hear the song.

Mine's just set to a nice, normal ringing sound. But it never rings, so it doesn't really matter. Whenever it does, I glare at it for quite awhile, hoping the person will take the hint and just hang up immediately, but they never do. *sigh* Then I feel obligated to actually answer it, and it always ends up being my mother (who's knew record at annoying me is now .5 seconds...just the sound of her voice grates) or my supervisor at my old job begging for my return.

On the other hand, I only use a cellphone, no landline at home, so I do feel obligated to keep it on in the case of an emergency or something. I usually go through approximately 5-15 minutes (out of 1000 or 1500) of my plan every month, if that many. I truly, honestly, completely hate talking on the phone. Plus, I really dislike cellphones as well, and don't see why people feel like that have to be available 24/7. If I'm in a building that isn't my home, the cellphone is off. There's nothing worse than listening to 20 different phones (all with ringtones on high) ringing within five minutes of each other after you've been sitting in the Department of Motor Vehicles for two and one half hours. Ugh.

Err...sorry. Just a little rant that's been building up in me. I'm so old-fashioned. I miss the days when I didn't feel like I had to be available to talk anytime and anywhere.
