Last movie I was was Sideways.
Hated it. Nice concept, but the script sucked. So did the acting. My mom says it's a great movie, and I didn't understand it. Pfft as if.

:O

Sideways is great. Paul Giamatti is a fantastic actor, and it's a great adapted screenplay.

I may have to go with your mother on this one...you see, I'm all for differing opinions on films, but even if I didn't like the actual film I wouldn't say the script or acting were bad. :S

The last movie I saw was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and it rocked. It was the most horrible tweaking of my childhood ever^^

The last movie I saw was Dark Water. I thought it was okay, but for me, it was super predictable and you could see such strong resemblences to The Ring that it wasn't very effective. I do have to give it credit though, because I was scared to be alone in the bathroom afterwards for fear of the toliet or sink or shower suddenly squirting out "dark water" haha!

Giamatti was good.
It's just I don't get how this thing won 80 something awards.

And it annoys me how there are these people who think they are ever so smart just because they 'enjoyed' the movie.
I knew I wasn't going to like it even before I saw it, but I even though I didn't like it, doesn't mean I didn't understand it.

Last night, while playing Maple Story, I watched Hotel Rwanda. I was crying so much that I couldn't see the monsters that were attacking me and I died. Twice.

Great movie, you have to see it. Have to, have to, have to.

Oh yeah, fair play to you, I wasn't trying to undermine you. If it's not your thing fair enough. But I do think it's easy to lump bad scipt and bad acting together with disliking something. And vice versa, of course, some of my favourite films are absolutely terrible.

Same here... it was... different?

On Tuesday, about 0:20, I started watching a film called Dead Husbands because it had Edee from Desperate Housewives in it.

:P I actually really liked it, I thought it was funny and interesting.

Then again, this is coming from the person that watches All-Star Celebrity Poker Challange thingy... I watch anything so I don't have to go to sleep, the Apprentice USA is the highlight of my week... *blabbers on*

Batman Begins. Amazing. Just amazing. I mean I like the previous batman films but this felt more serious and believable and realistic. Bruce Wayne actually feels like a person. And the acting was just terrific. I hope they make another one.

Agreed, it was a lovely movie that I really enjoyed.

:P And the sad thing is is that I'm waiting for the All Star Poker Challange thing to start.

I'll watch anything.

I just watched Stargate for the 2nd time. The first time was when in first came out in theaters in.... 95? I was in Taiwan at the time. Anyways, I remembered how much I like James Spader as Dr. Jackson. When I watched Secretary I kept thinking.. "where do I know that guy from...???" Now I remember :D

The last movie I watched was Howl's Moving Castle (there was like 7 people at the theater). I loved it!! =) EXCEPT for this little part at the end, which I didn't really understand, but most of it was soo magically beautiful.

I watched Gods and Monsters a few nights ago, so that's my most recent. I wasn't sure what to expect with it, but it was definitely very interesting. I was watching it while playing City of Heroes, so I missed quite a bit. I was very impressed with Brendan Fraser in the film. I don't particularly like him, and my husband despises him, but he did a very nice job. And of course, any film where I can just sit and listen to Ian McKellan's voice is quite nice.

Overall, I can't critique it, but I was neither disappointed nor blown away by it.
