Spanish...it's becoming more and more practical to learn it these days.

But ASL would be awesome.

Japanese... because I love Japanese movies and I wouldn't have to read the subtitles.

Japanese, definitely. I'd actually be able to understand all of my imported games. x__x

Either Spanish or an Asian dialect. Both used most frequently.

I'd have to say Gaelic or Russian.

French.

Because I'm learning Spanish and it would be a waste to use a Magical Language Fluency on something I'm already learning.

So French. It's useful, AND I could read the original translation of POTO and see if the false nose really is made of pasteboard!

(Seriously, if it is, that's one crazy Leroux.)

Plus, could speak like Erik really would speak. Fun!

Does shorthand count? :D

Greek (ancient or contemporary) or Gaelic. And the Romance languages. I'm already learning Spanish and French.

Hi.

Either Spanish or Latin. Spanish so I would be able to breeze through it next year. Latin because so many words have roots in it and it just would be cool to know.

You'd be surprised at how many english words are rooted in French... I've been watching this show on History International about the history of the English Language and it's been enlightening.

My mom was watching something like that! :) In school this past year we did "stems" instead of spelling words or vocabulary words, and like 99.9% of the ones we learned were Latin, French, and Greek.

I'd like to learn my own language [Turkish] before I start learning any others.
