My mother found these at walmart and I am eatting one now. They are actually good. But I don't know, still tastes like apple to me. I think it smells like a grape more than tastes like an apple. But it is pretty good! At first I thought they were genetically modified and I didn't want to eat it. But they make it by dipping apples into water and grape juice concentrate and then they kind of soak up the flavoring.

This process is complex and the ingredient mix includes concentrated Concord grape flavor and pure water

Sounds interesting. Hmmm, maybe to experience the grapple without buying some, I could just stick a slice of apple and a grape in my mouth at the same time...
But that would really defeat the purpose, wouldn't it?

Or maybe just soak an apple overnight in juice and see what happens.

I ate grapple gum once. It was good.

Now I want to go buy a grapple. But wouldn't it be an..ape? Apple-grape. Because there's more apple than grape, right? *confused*

They ought to invent beef that tastes like chicken now.

They've done the reverse; McDonald's chicken nuggets used to have beef extract in them, I think. :P

This Grapple thing seems interesting...but the GM aspect of it does not. I don't think they sell anything related to that here anyway.

They should make an apple that taste like water mellow. I will be eating that whole day.

In NZ, all the apples at this time of year seem to taste a bit like pears, but this is a little more intentional XD

I asked my mom if she ever heard of a grapple, and she hasn't. Hmmmm, I do want to try one now though, just for the sake of being able to say that I have.

If you wanted something that tastes like a grape, you could just go and eat grapes... O_O.

I really think it's sort of pointless.
