Favorite Pie?

I absolutely love Lemon Meringue, Pecan, French Apple, and Peach! Please, share your favorite pie(s) or rant about how much you hate/love pies. I'm eating pie currently and so I was curious.

EDIT: Don't worry, I know how utterly random this topic is...but it is Misc. Polls, and I simply love pie

Pumpkin pie rules all. I also like cherry though. Fabes (http://www.fabesnatural.com) makes awesome pies, although their cherry ones are significantly better than their pumpkin, unfortunately.

Mmm...pie...My favorites are black raspberry, pecan, and French silk pies. Pumpkin pies are sometimes good, in my opinion, but only when made with fresh pumpkins, not that gunk from the can. I always thought I hated pumpkin pie until I had a 'real' one 2 Thanksgivings ago. I fell in love with it, and when this past Thanksgiving came around, I eagerly helped myself to a large helping.... and it was made from the canned pumpkin. It was truly disgusting, and I was unable to eat it. This Thanksgiving, I think I'll ask before I eat.

As a very odd person, I often find it far better to eat something on it's own rather than let it be added to something, say, a pie. Berries are good by themselves. I often deconstruct sandwiches. Exceptions include vegatables with hot sauce.

I almost always end up deconstructing sandwiches. Unless they're toasties, hot cheese on your fingers hurts. >.<

I like berries on their own, but in pies they're warm and, well, cooked. And sticky.
