We're trying to get her to come out of her cage right now so we can clean it. We have a yard set up for her, but she's still a little shy.

Erm, I mean...have fun with Maya. That's a really cute name for a bunny.
(The name Maya also reminds me of a certain episode of Azumanga Daioh...)

That was my first thought when I saw the name...Well, that and 'such a pretty name.'

Oh my gosh, you're kidding! That's my little sister's name...same pronunciation and everything XD

Aww, bunny! You'll still want to keep the cat away from it though, it'll probably try to attack it even if it's smaller than the rabbit. Believe me, my cat tries to attack me, and I'm a lot bigger than her. Still, what a cute bunny!

I don't know about bunnies but from what I have seen people write about them, their diet is very important. I think they need a lot of roughage, like alfalfa or something that they can really chew on. And some veggies are good for a snack but not for all the time. I think carrots is one of those veggies that you don't give them a lot of, even though people think bunnies like them they can't live off of them. Also bunnies can actually die of being scared to death. I know someone whose bunny died from being scared by a dog, and the dog never touched it, just scared it to death.

Aww, such a cute bunny ^_^ Makes me miss the one my family had for a while, poor thing. One thing you might want to watch if she is bigger than the cat that she doesn't hurt the cat. Rabbits can seriously injure cats if they feel threatened at all, one good kick and it can be the end of the cat in fact.

However the bunny we had loved my cat to bits and used to follow him everywhere, while my cat was just like "omg, this is so embarrassing :/". Ooh and he loved dandelion leaves so if you have them in your garden they're great for treats Veggies are always good as mainly pellet based diets can lead to fat rabbits, so veggies as a supplement are great. Carrots and all the obvious stuff are great, cabbage is to be avoided though if I remember right. It's been ages since I looked after one though so I'm sure you know a heck of a lot more than I do!
