Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Woah, yeah. I was, and still am, a tomboy. Waay a tomboy.

I didn't vote because I wasn't either extreme ^_^ I found my old toybox once and laughed, because tangled up in the pink ponies with sparkly wings (I kid you not) were dinosaurs, or those morph action figure things that change from animals to robots, or more model horses, or barbies...etc. I was a pretty mixed kid. sometimes I was a major tomboy and other times I was perfectly content to play with everything fuzzy and pink
it was more the storylines than anything else, like someone said up there. regicides (though at the time I had no clue what the word was, heh), dramatic soap operas between the horses and transformers, elaborate setups following the entire lion king story...yeah, those were fun times.
so both feminine and masculine toys for me.

Yes! I never got action figures, or really cool legos, or racing cars, and all that fun stuff. I always got dolls(loved them, but that doesnt mean I didn't want something else as well). A toy i always wanted though was a walkie talkie! Ever since I was like 2! I'm 16(17 soon!) now, and I've still never had one. In fact it just makes me sad to think about!

Ok, before I forget. What does it say about us females when we stuff our Barbies into their cars, and then launch them down the stairs?
(And I swear, the Barbies are taking over the forums, this is the third post I've mentioned that on in as many days)

I liked everything, I think I liked Dinosaurs, and cars (Big car fan when I was small) and I had toys weapons.
But one thing I have always wanted was an Eazy-Bake oven, I mean, why do girls get all the fun of baking and making cupcakes and ice cream? That makes me so angry, I want one of those machines! Even now I do!
They give guys those stupid gummy insect machines (I bought one and it didn't work!) and I always wanted the Eazy-Bake oven. Stupid stereotypical toy.

Not really, I usually played with animal-themed playsets (there was this dog pound for example, aww man I mis those..) or barbie dolls. Oh and plushies too, but I guess those are unisex toys.
Edit: How could I forget My Little Pony?

... and Belville Lego too, they were meant for girls though.

I played with anything O_o
By the way, if people start banging on about sexism and 'how can you say such and such a gender are meant to play with such and such a toy' I will go insane and kill you all.
Thank you

-gives Igg a cookie- =]
I preferred the male toys. I was heavily a tom boy, and my mum claims I told her that, when I grew up, I wanted to be a boy or a dog. -sigh- The minds of little children. ><
And with my vote, it is equal! 10, 10, either way.

Heh, well, when we didn't play with toys, we had drugged-out play sessions based on Matilda or this book about kidnapped cabbage patch dolls or Sailor Moon. I forget what we did for the cabbage patch dolls, but in our Matilda games, the stairs were coated with sticky spider webbing every Wednesday and Bruce Bogtrotter generally died. And Sailor Moon always had Chibi Moon stabbed in the butt - don't ask me why, especially as we normally set the session in the season before she appears - and if we wanted it to be a serious one, we killed off Sailor Jupiter. Who was our mutual second-favorite (next to Mars for me and Venus for her - this was before we knew just how cool Uranus and Saturn were.)

Yes... Barbies scared me for some reason

so they ended up tied somewhere or got run over by trucks. I used to play with my brother's toy cars a lot.

You realise I will haunt you about this now for months on end *nodds head*

Apparently I said I wanted to be a boy.
Or I was a boy.
I forget.
One of my brothers used to want to be a girl. Well, not a girl, ME.

Have you ever actually eaten anything that came out of an Easy-Bake oven? It's not all that good. That's why I didn't want one.
But Ammer, now you're old enough to use a real oven. Go bake me some cupcakes!
(how's that for gender role reversal?)

I always had more Hot Wheels cars than Barbies. But I did have an eazy-bake oven! That was my favorite toy.

I used to play with cars a lot.
I'd line them up and make believe they're at a parking lot or something.
The carpets were the cities. o.o
And I still do love cars. *drool*
Only now it's the real things.
