(Just kidding! Though the reason that people can't just conjure up anything and everything, apparently, is because it doesn't last.)
Why are the books such a paradox?! (Okay, so I know why, JKR's trying to make a point, but still!) THE WAR IS ABOUT DISCRIMINATION (well, mostly, what with Voldemort being all, "omgz mugglz ew cuz i hav daddy issues"), and yet absolutely everyone in the books is very much, "Gryffindors are stupidly brave!" "Slytherins are all absolutely horrible, just because some of them are evil!" "Hufflepuffs are stupid!" "Ravenclaws are, um. They're, er. Uh. They actually like learning, so they're stupid! I mean overly intelligent! I mean they're just really annoying! Yeah, that's it!".
Makes me want to rip my eyes out, just out of frustration. ('Sides, Slytherins are

has said that while the Slytherins we've seen suck major suckiness, they're not all bad. So yay. ...Because I'm a Slytherclaw. I think. Oh, whatever, who knows.)
