Is there a way for me to get past the interstitial ads on this site without disabling my firewall? When enabled the "skip" button doesn't work and I don't get a routing timeline.

Hmm, I'm not really sure. It could have something to do with cookies as well or perhaps it is your firewall. If it is checking the referrer URL, then your firewall won't allow that. This seems odd to me that it would be set up the way you say it is.

I think my firewall and internet security features are blocking cookies and that disables the features of the ad. I could be wrong, though.

Not sure, have you tried the AD Blocker by Mozilla Firefox?

Block them :)

If memory serves, they're coming from a1.interclick.com -- use the HOSTS file to route it somewhere unreachable, and you'll never be plagued by them again.

If you're using windows XP:
  1. Disable the read-only flag on c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
  2. Run notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
  3. Add the following line to the end of the file:
    Code:
    127.0.0.1 a1.interclick.com
  4. Save the file, close all IE windows.
  5. You're done.

Will you stop with the honour stuff?

Actually I found a simple way. Just right click and Open in New Window. But blocking the cookies sounds more fulfilling.
