apples and oranges! how to decide between such utterly different films?
i'm going with lord of the rings, because it's actually better than the book, whereas disney tends to take too many liberties with the original story.

Yeah, except her basic gig was "must... eat... shiny things," whereas Shelob figures into one of the most dramatic betrayals in literary history. Moreso in the book than in the movie, but Frodo sending Sam away... *tear*

Lord of the Rings was an amazing movie that overwhelmed many fans around the world, but I dont like lord of the ring so therefore vote Beauty and the beast...

I'm going with Beauty and the Beast. I adored that movie when I was a little kid. I used to have all sorts of sheets, brushes, and toys with characters from the movie on them.
