Nothing much on Walt's appearance last episode though! Argh.

Then there's Jin on the weird part of the island with the mob. Previews suggest that it's another flight crash? At least he survived, I was getting worried there that he didn't show up until the last two minutes.

And of course inside the hatch. The 4-8-15-16-23-42 number sequence thing, aughhhh they need to reveal what it means sometime or I'm gonna die of theorising in my head. Had to laugh when Kate decided to hog some of those chocolate bars though.

Hooray for watching my FIRST Lost episode ever! I watched the whole thing and I basically clued in on what's happening with the help from my brother in law and sister. It's a really neat show, can't wait for next week.

My take on the episode, I find it hilarious that Jin came at the ending and was all tied up. Didn't he fall off the ship in the water? How did he end up there? Wait. Unless those guys who took the kid took him as well. And are they another plane crash?

As for this Desmond guy, how the hell did he get all that food? There has to be something more about him.

And does anyone find Walt really annoying? Man, I felt so bad for the guy on the raft with him, he was trying to make amends with him and he just kept saying "Shutup", "You don't love anyone" and blah blah. God, I wanted to push him off the raft.

Anyways, that was my take on the episode.

Anywho... without giving anything away.... Good lord... This show is like the Master of giving you info while actually NOT giving you any info o_O

One thing gets answered and then a whole boatload of other new questions pop up! ARGH!
I can't wait a week!!!

I'm thinking the island is an experiment. For what? I have no idea... but that definetly seems like the best theory to me so far.

Was the shark in the water with the symbol on it. It suggests that it's part of the island's security system. Was a Jaws moment when the thing was trying to get them off the raft.. that just doesn't seem like what a normal shark would do.. ya know?
Or maybe they would do that if they smelled blood in the water... *shrugs* I'm sure someone will know.....
But put that in with the thing on the island... The hatch and the computer that needs to type in those numbers to execute something to start over a countdown.
Yeah yeah..... definetly Island= Big weird experiment thing.

Show reminds me of Resident Evil... I'm expecting to see zombies pop up any minute now

EDIT: And yes yes yes.... Mike (walt is the boy) was UBER annoying this episode. Trying to put the blame on Sawyer when it wasn't even his fault. Like he knew that they were gonna take him or something.. UGH I wanted Sawyer to push him off too.

I bet those chocolate bars will come back later. I wouldn't have eaten anything in there. Of course I guess it's harder when you are starving.

I thought Jin was dead and was getting mad because I thought they were just going to be all "he died... la tee da".

I was kinda mad that the first 44 mins of this show just took us up to where we ended last week, and all that was revealed was pretty much just Michael deciding he was going to get Walt back. We already know that he cares for him a lot! And we were told where Kate was, but the whole thing just seemed to be slow for such a fast paced show. It didn't speed up til the very end.

Can't wait for next week...

Ok did anyone notice that when we saw the shark swim by, it had the same symbol on its fin that Desmond had on his shirt, and that was on various things inside the hatch? It makes you wonder if it actually is the ocean they are in. And the others, if thats who they really are, are people! Do you think it is the crazy french ladies boat people who actually survived?

God I love this show

I'm absolutely hooked on this show. The second season sounds awesome. Unfortunately, it will only come to Australia in February of next year.

Okay, so the episode was a little dragging on the button-pressing, although that was a little tense. Looks like they're gonna stick down there and take shifts now. Aw, I kinda wish they didn't press it.

But the thing today that got me most surprised was the previews for next episode- Jin speaking English? Is it just words that he happens to know, or is he like Sun in which he hid his ability to speak English? O___o

That was totally unexpected, for me. I was more excited about the previews than the whole episode.

Honestly, I think he speaks English. After all, he didn't seem to have any accent, and he spoke with a gramatically correct sentence structure. The funny thing is, though, in the first season Hurley thought Jin spoke English, and tried to bait him into reacting. (And I was sitting there thinking the joke was on them, since it was really Sun who spoke English.

)

I knew that girl was part of the group, although I'm wondering if the black guy is a descendant of the slaves who were brought onto the island on the Black Rock. Anyone could have been on the plane, I know, but he really looked like he could have been one of their descendants.

Did anyone else notice that the writers really seem to like getting Sawyer beat up? :lol:

*Edit* I also wanted to say, I'm thinking that the magnet is part of some kind of force field over the island, that somehow controls the temperature, keeps the island hidden from satelite/radar, and causes ships and planes to crash.

WOW! I LOVE this show even though the chars act like total donkeybutts.
I swear I wanted to get my hands around Jack's neck and just shake him till he snapped out of the attitude he was in the entire time!!!
Would've loved to have smacked him a few times too.

And I just felt so SO horrible for Locke

Poor guy! Hurting so much but trying to be strong.

And Then the so called "others"! WOW WOW WOW!!! That was really good. I had a suspiscion she was part of the other group but didn't know for sure until she started talking about how she was surviving on her own.

That group is definetly more people from the plane.
With the way that one woman was dressed.. in her sorta office woman drab. The only one that was out of place was the big buff black guy..but of course that was done on purpose to make us think he was one of the "others". Of course he'd be barechested (some of the other guys should be too!

heh)... looks like it's freakin hot on that island!

Looks like they've definetly had it harder than our group though since they had to build that holding cell and all... AND was suspicious of Sawyer and gang.
Also so excited that the new girl might be a possible love interest of Sawyers! YAY!
I was thinking it would be for Jack since she met him in the airport.. but it would be SO much better if she hooked up with Sawyer instead.
Another strong woman is defintely needed... specially one that can kick Sawyer's butt.
I love Sawyer but it's just fun watching him get beatup

Okedoke.... I just rewatched the episode and the preview for next week
and Jin is definetly speaking English with an American accent!!

GOD next week is gonna be awesome.

Maybe he's an American spy or something trying to take down Sun's father.
Ya know.. get in good with her to get close to the dad sorta thing. I dunno.. it's very curious why he's been pretending though!!

Hmm.. me thinks we're gonna need another Hurley episode soon. Guy he first heard the numbers from most probably was one of these guys stuck in that hatch.
From wht I got from that video they watched... it seemed to me that the other spots don't have to do the numbers execute thing.. but b/c of whatever the special 'circumstances' there.. they have to put in those numbers every 108min.
So if I'm understanding it right.. which I'm prolly not heh.... the guy Hurley first heard the numbers from came from THAT hatch and obviously he went looney from it. Maybe the poor guy got stuck there like Desmond did. All alone for a number of years having to put those numbers in all by yourself.
Geeze.. can you even imagine? Not being able to get a good long sleep b/c you have to keep putting in those numbers? I'd go crazy too
