I noticed that before and I felt very accomplished. I think there are a bunch of things like that around neopets... :) It's sort of fun and ironic to see things like that.

It's like in pokemon, Ekans is snake backwards and Arbok is Kobra backwards. :)

Indeedy, except Kobra is actually spelt Cobra.. I think Arboc doesn't sound right so it was edited to Arbok.

Same here. It was almost impossible not to, after fighting Noil after Noil trying to get their skin or something.

Yup, neopets took names from other languages, or messed with the resemblence of the pet with backwards names or funny spelling

Examples:

Draik- refers to Drake meaning a Dragon
Jub Jub- Refers to Jabberwocky
Kau- Cow
Eyrie- Refers to "The nest of large birds such as eagles"
Flotsam/Jetsam- The part of a ship thrown out of a boat when it gets too heavy
Koi- The actual fish
Elephante- Elephant

yup :)
Current Mood:  (Sleepy)

Also, like Lupe. Isn't Mynci Welsh for monkey? That would make sense...isn't Adam Welsh?
