I was just trying to click on a scamander on the Money Tree, accidentally clicked on a neopoint bag, and got this message:

How long has the Money Tree had a limit? I have never heard of that before. o_O

Well, I've never been able to get anything from the money tree ever.

But I've never heard of that from anyone else either! Will have to poke around and see if this is something new or just something I've never heard of before.

I remember hearing about that quite a while ago. I think it's just so the more rich people can't take away the items from the poorer people because they don't need them as much. Besides, most of the items I see in there are junk, anyway, except for when they release the faeries and stuff.

I first noticed this over a year ago, probably closer to 2 years by now. I believe it was mentioned in the news.

It's filled with scamanders donated by a neopets mod. :) You can't catch them, though. When you "catch" one, you get this message:

It's part of the LDP... there are tons of Scamanders at the Money Tree, but when you manage to grab one they always run away.

There is no limit to the amount of NPs you have if you want to snag an *item* from under the money tree.

There *is* a limit to the amount of NPs you have if you want to get *NPs* from under the money tree.

Scamander-in-cheif is not a user, but Scamander_in_cheif is and apparently a Neopets monitor. Too bad they aren't real. The picture is quite lovely though.
