Just got in twice in a row so if you wanna go, nows the time

Edit, went twice spent 60k with a bloated pet and got no avi!

Edit 2: went back a third time and spent another 40k! nothing!

Wasn't there something in a previous thread, the last time Kelp was "opened" about refreshing on a certain page? Anybody remember what it was exactly? or if it worked?

Edit: typo
I can't seem to find it on a search, but from what I remember they were saying to refresh at one of the beginning pages, before actually buying food.

Check your avatar list. I spent money there twice, got leftovers, no avatar event, but it was still in my list.

And to get leftovers, you need to eat something off of EVERY menu. Just like in the Golden Dubloon.

Went in twice, full courses both times, leftovers the first time, avatar the 2nd time, spent a little over 140k. Thought that I spent a lot to get the avatar until I saw some of the other posts here! :D

I think we'll find that the "open periods" are irrelevant(sp?). It is random about whether you can get into Kelp, but once you are in they seem to let you in every time from then on. Like they recognise you so you are obviously welcome.

I thought it was a glitch. Or at least that's what was said on the previous topic about this.

Since I was first able to get in a while ago, I have had no problem getting in, just haven't purchased anything because of the outragous prices. I did decide to get a full course and eat it today. I was able to take home leftovers, but did not see that I got the Avatar so I checked my chat preferences and it was there. The cheapest items that I was able to find cost 60,400 NP's for a full course. They are:

Appetisers - Tropical Fruit Bowl - 13,000 Neopoints
Main Course - Spicy Radish Salad - 28,400 Neopoints
Dessert - Honeyed Horn Of Plenty - 12,000 Neopoints
Cocktails - Lemwart Fizz or Thornberry Brew - 7,000 Neopoints

I tried it, and I didn't get any leftovers but my pet was bloated. I didn't get the avatar either.
