im the irish millionaire with no money..
yes it does make sence... sort of.
long story shortish, my great great great (great?) uncle was an irish chemist.
he had muchos money, his name was william blake (the poet? dont thinks so, differant one, far more respected than that londoner)
he invented coca cola (or rather, the process by which you watsit it... make it fizzy, ive forgotten the word in the last half hour) and made the original recipe, which contained some rather funky stuff (it was initally a sedative)
longer story shorter.
he sold it, papers lost when he moved (new zealand i think it was... that couldve just been his nephew, who became one of the first presidents or whatever it was of some island or another) and his millions became lost.

Ooh, I remember another one. A friend of mine is the third cousin of Matthew Good. They share the same last name, so I thought I'd ask him...was I surprised.

I'm related to a person that should be famous. This guy is named um... William McDonnell, and he's supposed to be the person that wrote the music for "Jingle Bells!" My grandma has the actual music in her house, so that's our proof, and my claim to fame!

Do you mean Tim Berners-Lee (sp?), who developed HTML. That's quite cool

Yep, that's definitely cool! Darude's 'Sandstorm' is still a massive club tune, a classic. And 'Freestyler' by Bomfunk MCs is cracking too.
Similar theme, I know Norman Cook(aka Fatboy Slim)'s mother-in-law (that is, Zoe Ball's mum). And Eugene from the last series of UK Big Brother which I think I've mentioned here before (he was the runner-up, and won half the prize money). I saw him for the first time since he got out of the House yesterday:
"Guess what I've just spent £630 on?"
"Umm...I dunno. You're a celebrity now - was it drugs?

"Nope! I got the car serviced!"
He was genuinely excited about that too.

My dad's good friend is a movie producer, and he's working with Raven Symone, Robin Williams, and Whoopi Goldberg on his current movie. I think it's called Yankee Irving.

Fat Joe's nephew went to my middle school . He came on the last day of eigth grade, the school went freaking insane. Unfortunately I didn't get to see him though :/
And my dad's friend is really good friends with Connie Francis, who used to be a big singer person way back when (ask your parents or grandparents if they've ever heard of her xD.)
Ah..and I doubt this counts but my grandpa was the guy who invented the plastic for the two-litre soda bottles
