Has anyone notice how theres no eso on the sidebar? T0T I was so sad. I love lil' eso

Sorry to be the sidebar-acquisition party-pooper, but I strongly believe that TNT will not have the same method to get the sidebar as last year - if there is a method at all. It just strikes me as not their style to be so predictable...

Of course I'll be editing this post if I turn out to be wrong :battar:

And of course I'll still be refreshing at 11:59pm (a convenient 6:59pm here in Oz) :evil:

Btw I agree that that esophagor face is very cute.

archimedes, you could be right, then again the trick or treat spots were all the same from last year, with the addition of 2 new spots. You never, ever know with TNT. I do remember alot of annoyed people last year who either weren't on or were doing something and so didn't refresh/go to a different part of the site between 11:59 and 12:00 nst.

Troggy, I'm in the same time zone, EST, so it's 3 a.m. for me too. This, if I just can't stay up or can't be on the computer, I don't think I'll be too upset about (the different sidebars just slow page loading down) even though I do like the Halloween sidebar. The whole 3 a.m. thing gets to me on the first of the month when scores are reset ... there's no way I can be up then and play any game well enough to even come close to a trophy score. That bugs me.

ooooh, i hope that i can stay up till 1:00 here, So tired from trick or treating, also, id be pretty angry if it doesnt work...

If not, i'll just whip out the ol' dusty Proxomitron again... sigh... o_O

Also hopefully TNT will realise that they were inconveniencing a LOT of people (like 93% of their user base) with the timing of the refresh last year, so they'll hopefully make it easier to get the sidebar this year.

However, TNT don't exactly have the best track record in respect of fixing mistakes quickly...

Just looked up what nanowrimo is - no way I'd have the time for that!

I think they'll leave it as is... after all, it IS just a one-minute window, so it's not like everyone will be able to get it. And some of us have been waiting a year for this one minute, and TNT doesn't want to make us mad... if they know what's good for them.

I don't think I'll be staying up for this on either, 3 am for me as well. The sidebars are fun a couple times a year, but they are slower loading, even if you are on DSL.

I'm doing NaNo too! Although, just like last year, i'm going to go to bed without having written anything and then just start tomorrow.

There's noway I'm going to stay up that late. it's still another 2 hours away. I've set my clock to be 30 seconds later than the Neopian Time (in my time zone) then scheduled the following batch file to run at 11:59:30 NST which is (2:59:00 on my computer). Here is the batch file:
