Just reached 2421, which is fairly close to last year's pitiful attempt at novel writing. I'm eager to see the PPT Nano'ers excerpts, even though they're probably leagues better than what I have.

(EDIT: Ack, I double-posted! I officially blame it on my wacky cable connection, though even mods ((especially me ) are prone to mistakes.

I'm at around 1,500 words currently. It's starting nicely, considering I didn't plan anything and ended up picking the main character's name the second it needed to be said in the story.

Almost 3000 so far. My History teacher thought I was in a coma....a was doing 'severe brainstorming' for my prologue. Pretty much you couldn't have stopped me writing today if the school had caught on fire (again )

Wow, I did more than I thought I did. I only did 2 pages and a little more, gahh!! That's all I'm doing for today though, now I really have to get started on homework!

I worked on mine for about 3 hours at work and made it to 3838. Not too bad of a start, plus I've thought of a few ideas for tomorrow when I was doing other things tonight. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep my pace. I could have written more today, but I decided to hold back so I didn't overdo it on the first day and burn out.

I'm not going to do it after all. For one thing, I haven't started, because I was grounded yesterday. There's a whole list of other reasons too, including everything from "it's too much of a commitment" to "Gino".

I reached 1.8k yesterday, but ended up jumping straight into action without even thinking. But as helpful people remember me, it's about writing, not writing good stuff.
Today I plan on crashing a spaceship on a planet and have the crew quarrel again.

No fair, mine is 3 pages and it's around the same count as yours. :(

I signed up for Nano and completely forgot about it until I checked my e-mail today and had a nice e-mail from them. ^_^

So yes, now I'm a day behind. But... oh well. If I finish my math in third period... I can work on it then. =D

Write it out then type it up, that's how I work, I think. ^_^

I hate this, I want to write it, but I just try to find excuses not to. Then if I can't think of any I'll just think 'I'll do it later'.

Heh. I decided on October 31st that doing Wrimo would be sort of fun. I've already given up. I may write a little more this month, but 50,000 is about three times as much as I can handle.

I'm surprised, Day 2 went even better than Day 1 for me. I'm up to 8,899 words. I think I actually worked on it a bit longer today, closer to a full three hours rather than just two to two-and-a-half. Hopefully, I'll come up with a few ideas tonight for tomorrow's writing to I can keep up my pace. I'm finding NaNo to be much more enjoyable than I had actually anticipated it would be. Now to decide if I want to share an excerpt on my author page or not.
