What does that mean? :o

I went to the Deserted Fairgrounds and bought a scratchcard, and "Wanna buy some pegs, Dave?" is what came up under Sidney, where stuff they say goes in bold letters. I wouldn't think anything of it, except it's lacking Sidney's usual sibilance(his hissing "S"). So, is it a bit from an old plot, or an inside joke from a Neopets staff member, or just a random...thing?

I did a Wikipedia search, and it's a quote from the BBC Comedy TV Show called The League of Gentlemen.

TNT loves adding in little hidden quotes like that.
