Passed last years final count of 3700-someodd and up to 4216, and intend on writing more tonight. I took a Creative Commons license on the novel today, anyone else intending on doing this?

XD, I used Garamond which is a pretty small font, and I reduced the margin, so that helped I guess. I'd rather have more pages though, it gives the illusion you're doing more.

I won't be able to write a lot tonight. I came home late because of school band and now I have major Math and French homework. So I'm only writing 700-ish words tonight. I'll have to rush majorly to catch up on Saturday =(.

That's a really great idea, HBB. I won't be doing it, since my 'novel' is actually a work of fanfiction. But if it weren't, I'd probably do that as well.

Well, I'm on 1.5k words. I've actually improved upon last year's total by... 1.5k words

Anyways, tired now sleep, but work tomorrow shall be done (Unless tupid coursework gets in the way -kicks-)

I find it helpful to pace at about 1700 words a day.

I'd be doing better if TNT had wrapped up the plot in October -- or at least not started things happening again just as it was coming writing time -- but while I'm already thousands of words behind schedule, I'm still doing better than I did last year.

Hmm... I think I'm done writing for the day. Spent about 2.5 to 3 hours on it, and I managed to add a little over 4000 more words to bring my total word count to 13,082. That's, what, a bit over 25% of the way through in just 3 days (>10 hours) of writing. There's no way I'm going to actually finish my story by the end of November, I don't think, but I should definitely be able to meet the 50,000 by then, if I can keep at it.

How on earth do you guys find out how many words you've written. Do you count them all by hand???

I suppose they use Word Count.

That wasn't meant to be sarcastic. But they do use Word Count, it's a feature on most word programs.

I'm expecting 3200 by today. I have a major French project due tomorrow. But tomorrow I have only half-day of school so hopefully I can spend a good 4 hours on it or so. I'm so behind on my schedule!
