My family is friends with a Beatles tribute band known as The Fab Faux. They're the best one I've ever seen; they bring up horns and strings for some songs, perform wacked-out solos for some tunes, and recreate entire albums on stage (even the entire 'White Album').

My mum knows the manager of a big beer company (cant remember which) and she has met Mrs. Universe (the old one)....

Let's see - celebrities who I actually have some sort of connection to (plus a few random ones thrown in just because they make good anecdotes):
- Queen Latifah lived next door to me for a while.
- Dustin Hoffman goes to my temple sometimes.
- I went to theater camp with Mary Kate & Ashley's younger sister.
- I went to school with Alex Linz and Corbin Bleu (they're both actors).


If we're just going by people I've met, the list is a lot longer (hey, I live in Los Angeles) - and this is only off the top of my head, as I'm sure there have been a lot of people who I didn't recognize or forgot about (my mom has a friend who gets us into movie premieres once in a while). It's really unfortunate that I'm not particularly starstruck or this would all be a lot cooler.

- I tripped Antonio Villaraigosa (mayor of Los Angeles).
- I met Alex Trebek when I was on Jeopardy.
- Christina Ricci (I think it was her) spoke at the graduation for my summer arts program.
- I saw Rachel Bilson and one of the guys from the O.C. when I was campaigning for Kerry in Nevada. I also met his daughters.
- Speaking of that, I met Kerry and Gray Davis at another rally a few months before that. I also apparently met Hilary Clinton once, but I don't really remember that.
- Continuing in that vein, I met Bill Clinton right before he became President. I ran away.
- I spent a day hanging out at the Playboy Mansion once, so I had to mee someone "interesting", right?
- Er...I met Bill Nye the Science Guy once?

This woman grew up with my mom and was one of her good friends. They sat next to each other in Algebra, and now look where she is now
My mom was once watching Today and she saw her old friend all successful, famous and amazing and she was like "What the heck?! I know that face!" Haha, she has been in Time...and everything, so I think it is humerous ^^

Heh, this just reminded me of something... A couple weeks ago, my friend (who's at Cornell) told me that a drunk Bill Nye wandered into her friend's suite.

As far as famous people go, I don't really know any directly and I only know a couple indirectly.
One of my high school teachers is good friends with Bruce Springsteen because they went to school together, which happened to be in my school district.
My best friend's sister knows the lead singer of The Decemberists and one of the girls from Eden's Crush (anyone remember Popstars?).
My sister's friend was in Spiderman 2 but he only had a couple lines.
I know Brian Kernighan (he's well known within the computer science field) because he teaches at our school.
And I've met some other famous people but there's no connection there.

Well, they say my Art teacher is the grandaughter/daughter of the world table tennis Champion, not sure if that's true though.

I think I would have to kill myself if I were the "other" Olsen sister. That has got to suck.

I know everyone from MTV's Sorority Life, Season 2 cuz I'm in the same sorority. Not sure if they're considered famous though.

I used to live with the lead singer of ava, and went to school with the lead guitarist for many years. Of course, they aren't even remotely famous, they're just a local band, but that's all I've got.
