im guess ing we have two more crystals to find since the safety deposite box has 4 useless crystal items when you search. possibly therefore also two more cat colour combos too

i so wish someone would pop up and give us a hint.

anway i keep makign stupid mistakes so im gonna take a break and have a nap.im not managing to think right at all atm = im being pretty useless. ill be back later tonite ir tomorrow (uk time).

Do the subtraction. Now the white scrolls....who is to say that that isn't more, clear? I mean the original scroll color would be white, so perhaps someone could try white where their dupes lie.

So for instance mine is

PGYPXGBOPOXYRXPX

So I would try:

RBWRXBWYBYXWWXRX

With the 4 whites added. Cause I know all the RBand Y scrolls are there.
Maybe someone with a small room over a White spot could go see if that scroll is there.

Did anyone who got that Anubis message after their second crystal re-read the original set of scrolls just before reading the new one...read the original 12, then read the additional 8 for a total of 20 in a row?

I'm thinking that there might be something we need to do to "reset" the start of reading the scrolls that come from the 2nd crystal.

I've got the sharp eye problem. I can't get it. My first room is Sakhmetian Archives, Rm. 114 (blue bird). I went in there and read a blue bird scroll. And so on, until I reach the red. Artisan Licensing Records, Other. Red Set (roman two-ish symbol) x2. So I read the same scroll twice.

Is that wrong? O_o didn't work for me...

btw. For the Useless Crystal, first version. The order of the colors go from left to right, right? ^^;

Yes, if you have duplicates you click them twice in a row. Not sure why it's not working for you, however.

First double check that you have the correct colors for each of the symbols on your tablet. Don't forget to skip a symbol for every blank spot in your light display.

Next make sure that you are reading the scrolls in order. The order of the colors comes from the three color dots on top of your crystal. Then you read the scrolls for each color in the order in which the symbols appear on the card catalog for that color, not the order they appear on the tablet.

Example, my set would be

bbwwybrbwyrbwyyy (keeping all the colors)
or
xbwwybrbwyxbwxyx (not using the 4 repeated colors)

I know using white in place of the repeated colors was suggested and tried. But I don't remember seeing this, so thought I'd ask. If no ones tried then I'll give it a try.

If it's your 1st one just go back to the chef.
If it's your 2nd you still need to go to the chef and get your 1st one, then you need to fall through a spike trap again.

If it's your first crystal, just go back to the chef / foreman for a replacement. If it's your second, you may have to go back to the spike trap after the chef / foreman.

I'm thinking the same thing, but I can't seem to think of anything else at the moment. And the first one seemed to focus on just the primary colors, where the second one seems to be about the rest of the colors.
