Hi everyone,

I have a question about using the Neopets website while running Norton Internet Security. There are certain images that don't display on Neopets when I have my internet security turned on. For example, the images for the LDP Temple, the Symol Hole, the Deserted Tomb in Geraptiku. I know that Norton is responsible for these images failing to appear because I turned it off for a little while this afternoon and the images actually appeared. What can I do within Norton to allow these Neopets images to display properly?

Thanks so much!

I don't know the english word for it, but add neopets as an allowed site under "Sekretess".

Looks like a good place to start.

I was always taught to bump rather than create new.

I use Norton Internet Security 2006. If I have Adblock enabled, I can't view the pets colours from the rainbow pool.

I have followed the directions on Norton's site to permit image html strings for Neopets.com, but I apparently am not using the right string or I am missing something obvious or not so obvious, I'm not sure.

I do also use Firefox's Adblock, and if I have Norton's disabled, I am able to view the rainbow pool images, but Firefox Adblock doesn't block half the banner ads (esp that annoying pink panther one), even after a filter is created for each of the non-neopet ad directory URLs.

Does anyone know a way around this? I don't want the banner ads, but I love looking up what my pets would look like at the rainbow pool but without having to disable Norton Adblock every time.

Thank you in advance to anyone that can help. :)

Did you put the wildcard * in it? Remember to check local settings, be sure to permit images and everthing else.

I don't even know what wildcard function does in Firefoxes Adblock, so I've never used it.

The only time I can not view the rainbow pool images is when I have Norton Internet Security's AdBlock enabled. And I have already gone into the advanced settings to permit images for Neopets. I've put the following strings in as permit for http://www.neopets.com and images.neopets.com:

images.neopets.com/
images.neopets.com/pets
