edit: ive been told by a resident Star wars nut, that Durron had a green sabre.
Unless there are two of them...
Champions of the Force, Volume 3 of the Jedi Academy Trilogy by Kevin J. Anderson, pg 209 (Bantam paperback): "Kyp could not give in to it now. Instead he reached for the lightsaber at his hip, pulled it free, and flicked on the pwer button. The
violet-white blade shone in an arc of cleansing electricity, purest light."
Perhaps he changed sabers in the New Jedi Order books. But in the book triology he originally appears in, he has a purple lightsaber.
Theres a guy with the same name in Revenge of the sith too (not seen in film mind) but his is Green.
My mistake
Is that even physically possible? Unless it were a blacklight saber, in which case it would be purple....COOL!
Tis possible, lightsabres of all colours are possible.
The colour is dependant upon the focusing crystal, though it escapes me what is in a black sabre.
And its not so much light, as an absense therin. And a Pinpoint singularity helps too.
