Meep....as some of you probably know, my school burned down in July, and I was more or less heartbroken. So, anyway, there was going to be a board meeting of my school district to decide whether or not to rebuild my precious school on November 15th....and it's been moved to tonight!

I just found out, and they'll be announcing it in an hour and 15 minutes...I'm so nervous! That school was and is everything to me, at least at this point in my life...if it's not rebuild my life as I know it is going to fall apart--my friends will be moving to different schools halfway across the state, I'll be sent to my homeschool, which is infamous for having the highest drug use AND suicide AND gang rates in the state, and which destroyed three of my best friends. So...yeah. And, tha bad thing is...2 of the 3 plans being considered DON'T involve rebuilding my school.

I'm pretty sure I know what you mean, but the first thing I think of for "homeschool" is being taught at home, by parent(s) -- that would be a heck of a household.

the two plans proposed last night were only two plans (1 closed three schools and 2 closed none and rebuilt your school) and though I am unsure if they have made the final statement, the board is dead set on closing no school and rebuilding you school!

So, the vote last night was to...

REBUILD MY SCHOOL!

The absolute final decision will be made on the 19th though. If they do rebuild it though, the estimates from the fire damage say it probably won't be done 'till I'm out of Jr. High. We'll find out where I go in the meantime on the 29th.

On a side note, they also decided to leave my school open
