Oh, 5 billion nps. I think you just can get frozen if you earn nps too fast. Garet_jaxx was frozen for that

I'm not trying to start an argument but I can't help but feel bad since it's so hard for me to get 500k and for someone to say 10 mil isn't a lot is like a gigantic slap in the face. I know you're not trying to insult me but I still feel that way. =/

Anyway... back on topic... I *think* it's possible for TNT to freeze you for too much neopoints-- I've read several stories of people complaining about being frozen after reaching a certain amount of neopoints.

I don't know why garet was frozen (honest, I don't!), but I can tell you he's since been uniced. I've had a couple of neomail conversations with him in the last week.

Sometimes the reasons for freezing are completely mind-boggling, unfair and untrue. I've had friends frozen for the most inane reasons, some got their accounts back, others unfortunately either had to start over or just quit.

With the new T&C and FAQ hopefully there will be less unfair freezings due to unwritten/vaguely written rules (like the no earning np via games, shops on side accounts).

BTW, 10 million actually isn't alot on the site anymore given the prices of some things. It's not an amount I'll ever see, meaning there's things I'll never have weapon-wise and for my gallery. It fascinates me that people can make that kind of np and some in a relatively short amount of time! Much more savvy than I (as long as the np are being earned honestly).

Every so often he deliberately lowers his NP dramatically for a while so that we "regular folks" can get the avatar without having to gang up.

That's how I got mine.

There's a bank account type that requires at least 10,000,000 nps.

To everoyne who was frozen unfairly I know what ya meen....

As many people at IDB know i was frozen a month or two ago because i got a keylogger and neopets was helping me. I got my account back with nothing on it at all. They took my pet with 120+ of each stat and around 1 mill. I started over and built my way back up and got a decent set and a good grey koi.

A week ago this happened:

"You MAY have either fallen for a scam or submitted your account information to a fake login page. If you'd like information on getting your account back, please contact us by clicking here."

I thought oh god it happened again somehow...then i looked and my active pet was still there so I kinda started to wonder...I sent them the form thing and got an E-mail saying they couldnt unfreze me because the data they had in their system and they were doing it to keep ME, the one who was frozen, safe. If thats not the biggest load of BS ive ever heard i dont know what is.

To put it simply TNT freezes for no reason sometimes.

As far as freezing for moving items/NP too quickly, I've got a question of my own. I made a new account, and after the plot is over, I'm going to make it my main account. How fast should I move my items and NP?

Mon Nov 14, 2005 3:06 pm

Very slowly, if you move things too fast they may think you've been hacked and freeze both accounts. Use trades and send some over every day, and don't bid from your other account with (or put up as a trade for np transferring) any freebie items such as jellies or omelettes, use something like cheap plushies ^^

Also write in the trades description write something like "moving to side account tnt, don't worry" :) Good luck!

Thanks, I was kind of scared I'd get frozen.

Sounds smart, but a little time consuming. Would take a month for my case...at LEAST. :o

I had a gallery on my side (alias) account with well over 300 items, some worth just a couple of np, some worth alot - not millions, but alot for me. I decided to close the gallery, as the stress of what we could and couldn't do with multiple accounts just got to me. So I moved everything back to my main (where it was all bought to begin with). I think it took me almost 3 months to clear the gallery out and get it all to my main account.

Better slow and staying under the radar than fast and getting iced for multi'ing or TNT thinking you've been scammed/cracked/hacked.

If That's True, That's Wrong. They Are Breaking The Internet Law Code (Kinda) And The Complete Neopet's Rules!

I'm just wondering, what is anyone's proof of alombar's (or whatever) amount of neopoints? You can't see into people's banks, right?

Mon Feb 12, 2007 10:36 am

This account has been FROZEN for the following reason:

This account was using a 'cheat' or downloadable cheat program.
that's what it says for alombar42.
so uh... how is that being frozen for too many neopoints?
or was that not his username on neopets?

I don't know but I remember hearing that you can only put 40 million in the bank before you get reset back to 0 especially with TYS considering TYS since were times when TYS jackpot was so high.
