While Monday and Tuesday went really well, I've really struggled with my NaNo for the rest of the week. I'm slightly behind schedule now (only a few hundred words, but still), so I think if inspiration strikes, I might allow myself to write for an hour or two this weekend...maybe.

Mylene, how many words are you trying to do? Or are you trying to finish early?

Just trying to get to 50k. But I don't write on days that I'm not at work, so instead of 30 days, I have 20 days to work on it (~2.5k/day). But since I was doing so well with 4k/day until the end of this week, I've sorta made it my goal word count for each day. I'm hoping to finish the NaNo requirements by the end of next week.

I have a very bad habit of quitting in the middle of writing projects. That's why I'm trying to get as much done as quickly as possible in hopes of actually at least finishing the NaNo requirements, even if I don't end up completing the story (during NaNo or otherwise).

I think I'm quitting, kind of. I'm still going to write the book, but I don't think for NaNo. My school, friends, family, and health need to come before finishing Smoke and Shadows (Old Smokey =P) and if I write enough for 50k in a month, they won't be able to.

Awww Req!! *cries* Nooo!!

I actually would have given up if Mylene and Windy and you didn't tell me not to...

I CAN'T WRITE! I'm stuck at chapter 6 and my writing's quality is like... falling... falling... fallling. I can't do it anymore! I'm giving up for the night. I'm so tired already. I dont' want to write anymore today. I hate chapter 6. Eww.

Just keep going! (This applies to everyone! Includeing me XD) Because it will all be worth it in the end! I swear it will!

I'm like, 600 or so words ahead. I have 22722 right now (omg, I always get such cool numbers)

I very nearly gave up a couple of days ago... Don't know what's keeping me going, but I really hope it lasts. 21k-ish, and my writing still sucks.

I am almost 10K words behind.

I'm doing so much worse than last year. Whhhhhy!

I'm not dropping out though. It's over when it's over and I can make a comback...hopefully.

I didn't write over the weekend, but I did get myself back on target today. It was a wonderful day for writing, and if it weren't for the fact that I'm leaving in 15 minutes, I would probably still be writing. I hate it where I'm having to stop, I was truly feeling the flow of the story. Actually had myself nearly in tears, feeling the emotions of my main character. ^^; I worry that my own facial expressions might reflect what is happening to my characters as I write, which means I might look very odd to anyone walking by my office. Eep.

Mylene is going to finish by this week.

I'm at 24559, so I'm almost halfway to 3k, which makes me happy .
