Maybe one of the final prizes in the plot is we all get to actually sit down on the benches / at the tables we moved into the Repository, have a nice meal that the Chef prepares, with a nice big scroll-burning to celebrate.

I think roasting the Chef would be great. I bet all of us have some nice jokes that we'd love to have him sit there and take. We can have Razul be the roast master since we can all see he has a burning desire for the chance.

Tomos avatar, yes, hmm .. I have this funny feeling we are supposed to be doing something like mad this weekend. But I have no good ideas. I admit my brain is so tired that I would gladly wait for a hint now.

EDIT: And why do I also have a funny feeling that the next lame prize is going to be a LDP Happy New Year Party Noise-Maker or something?

I'm gonna agree with you in that it's more likely a reward than a clue. Maybe TNT released it as a subliminal message to get our butts into gear and solve the next step. But what to do?

Oh, and I was thinking that Thanksgiving would make an awesome deadline for the plot. It'd be over and done with. TNT can be at home for the holiday without thoughts of finishing the LDP lurking around in their minds. (Or maybe I have that backwards--it'd be us who could rest peacefully...) I'm guess-timating that there are probably two comics left though and that'd be hard to squeeze that into three days. So in essence, I'm just rambling now...

On the Sceptre of Qasala (someone mentioned earlier it might be used as a weapon against Razul), I think it does look like it is being held in a triumphant manner. The flavor text for that card also gives me the impression that it will somehow be used to break the curse on Qasala. So perhaps rather than using it on his father, Jazan somehow obtains it (perhaps by defeating his father, or waking Nuria ) and uses it to break the curse.

I'm sorry but when I see a 10-15m tall Human Torch rip-off, it is a little too hard to stop all the 'flaming' jokes.

Edit: Yay! The Great Chokato thinks the Sceptre is important too. I also agree it is not a weapon, but it could to have an importance to the comic if not the overall story arc. (Thanks for the correction WockyC)
