Probably already done- but a fun topic nevertheless. :)
So: what is your favorite holiday?

Note: I admit that I am only familiar mostly with American holidays

Christmas! It's so snowing and cozy... it's the best time of the year. =D.

Halloween definitely.

I just love the idea of it, plus the scariness.

I like christmas but I hate everything that goes along with it. The corny music that radio stations play all day everyday, the million and one christmas specials, the stupid santa movies, snow, snowmen, candy canes...ect.

the only part about christmas i like is christmas itself. the actual day of getting presents that you know you are going to get anyway because you asked for them.

and I don't know about everywhere else but christmas seems to start earlier and earlier every year. stores are coming out with christmas junk long before they come out with halloween or thanksgiving junk. a few years ago, the "holiday season" didn't start until a week or two after thanksgiving.

Oh, Christmas, definitely. I have such fond memories, because it's the one day of the year where no one in my family yells at each other. Well, until my grandmother comes over.

I love Christmas :D I love November and December when the shops are full of christmas stuff, and decorations and music, and all the christmas films are on... ah, it's all great. And I love going out and buying people lots of pressies.

I usually don't get that much at christmas because I never need/want anything but I love buying loads for other people, and the actual day is nice for spending time with your family and partner. Christmas rocks :)

Well Holloween and Thanksgiving aren't celebrated commonly here in Israel... And Hanukka was my favorite while I was living in the US, since I got a present for each of the 8 days, but now I get nothing =\

Emm I don't know I'm not really all that big on Holidays, but Purim is fun... It's like the American Halloween - it involves dressing up and candy, but we don't go trick or treating for door to door.

I love the Christmas season- meaning from December 1st to January 1st. Sure, Christmas itself is only a day, but the whole season lasts all month. December pretty much is filled with snow and the holiday section at Walmart opens, and I get to buy pretty things for people... it's very great. :)

Chinese New Year.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

For you, maybe. :P For us Carolinians (well, if you live in Asheville, NC, maybe...), we most of the time see ice.

Christmas. Birthdays are fun too, though. :)
