Premium users may notice a little 2-arrow icon next to their portal link up at the top of the page... turns out you can now use neopets through your portal!
I don't personally like the option right now, the pages are too wide for me, but I'll see if I can take some screenshots to show others what it's like.

Yeah. I just noticed that too. Three seconds after trying it out, I was hurriedly searching for a way to change it back, not to mention it covered my hard earned sidebar.

I figured out - to turn it back, just hit the same icon on the left side. I liked it until I got sick of pulling my screen to the right.

It doesn't stretch my screen because of how I have my resolution set. It'll take some getting used to, and I definitely can't use it to restock, but it's nice for site surfing.

It's got some neat possibilities-- still pretty buggy at the moment, especially in combination with any other php commands, but it looks cool. There's a feedback/bugs thread on the premium neoboards.

rs'ers are complaining bitterly, I guess it won't get used by them. Good thing is you can switch back and forth if you like. It's pretty neat all in all, and it's obvious they're still working out the kinks but there aren't that many things noticably wrong. It's terrific that the programmer for this bit posted to get feedback, though his board is about to asplode lol.

The sad thing is that if you like it, you're forced to pick between that and any sidebar theme you love using (though the portal does have its own fun themes).

And here I thought the 2 arrows just meant I had a new "SHH" ... or at least a new neomail over there. now *that* would have been cool.

This seems interesting ... I like the "classic" view, though.

I kind of like it, gives me new themes to choose from. Although It does strech the page which I don't really like.

I don't really mind the Portal-in-Pets feature, but it is too much of an information overload. That aside, they should have a better reminder for the dailies than the dailies bar. It was onlt a few minutes ago that I remembered to collect my interest from the bank. This is probably the second latest, by about an hour, that this has happened to me. This has also happened with some of the other dailies too. A checklist would make all users' lives easier.

I like it. I just wish I could do away with the right bar entirely (removing all the mods from it still gives you a space-stealing tab that says "Mod List."). I also wish you could kill the colorful top banner which eats as much space as ads (though significantly less annoying). I LOVE the "links open a new window" option--this works with the Dailies bar AND in Firefox it opens them in a new tab if your Firefox options are set properly. This should make dailies browsing easier for those of you who were complaining about it (I know the bar wasn't worth it for me when I had to back-button to the Portal just to do my next one).

Yes, it eats away WAY too much space for restocking. Also, what were they thinking with that giant, hideous Space Faerie clock available on the mods list. All in all, the portal incoporation is well done and it is exactly what I've been asking for since they released the portal in the first place.
