The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

I can't wait until this comes out^^ The Chronicles of Narnia were my first actual books, and I've read them more times than any sane person should, so I'll probably be very nitpicky. -still excited!-
Although ANYTHING is better than that BBC thing with the people in suits...-shiver-

Trust me, it's very good, and you shouldn't be disappointed.

Yes, it's made by Walden Media if I'm not mistaken, and from the reviews I've read so far it seems like it's close to the books and generally really good
Hopefully I will be seeing it this weekend.

USA Today gave it 3 out of 4. The movie clocks in at about 2 hours and 20 minutes

Well, I just got back from seeing it.
It rocked.
100%
No contest.

I watched it with my class yesterday at 12:00 p.m!
It was good, a bit scary at the end, but kind of funny and good!
The ending bit, which was the last 30 minutes, was good!

Haha, yesterday at work, I was checker, so my job description was pretty much "Watch movies." I kept fudging around the times in my checker book so I could just sit and watch the movie for 15-20 minutes at a time, lol. Although we had this huge poster showing the white queen getting led in by polar bears, and I complained to my friend that in the movie she gets led by reindeer. But then I saw the start of the battle scene.

I just saw it, and it was EXCELLENT. Stood up to the books very well, and it even had almost the same pacing. The special effects were absolutely amazing, and the costumes possibly moreso. -wants whatever Susan was wearing at the end

Even if you haven't read the book, go see this movie. It's really good^^

I just saw the movie and it was very good. I was amazed with the graphics, especially how well Aslan looked. All of the creatures were very well animated and looked very real.

I haven't read the books even though I'm planning to.. so can only comment on the movie.
The special fx in the movie was really quite impressive. They really did an AMAZING job with the centaurs and fauns and all that.
The kids though... MAN were they annoying!!!! If that's how they were in the book then I'm gonna be one frustrated gal when I'm reading them.
I was also quite disappointed with the sorry as crap acting from the adults at the end. GOOD LORD they were just BAD.
I mean seriously.. I was embarassed for them by their bad acting.
All in all... it wasn't fantastic, but it was pretty darn good.

The movie made me cry tears of laughter at the sheer craptasticalness of it. I really prefer the original movie.
I would give this movie a Troy/10.

I loved the beavers! Seriously, I want one.
It was all just done so much better than I expected, I knew it would be better than the bbc one but with that as my only real comparison I was blown away. It seemed like such a loving adaptation, with hardly anything different from the book. And the kids were pretty good, Edmund and Lucy especially and really they are the main characters anyway. Susan was just as annoying as she is in the book, and Peter less so. Tumnus was awesome and Aslan is
Irish! Yay.
The film was a little spoiled for me by a bunch of students who sat behind us in the cinema and laughed out loud and talked through all the cheesy bits. If you think it is cheesy then fine (goodness knows the book is too) but to ruin it for other people? Totally lame.
Anyway... I loved the beavers!

Great film, spoiled by one thing.
It was described as the first, but The Magicians Nephew was.
Yeah, im picky.
Still hoping that The Last Battle makes it to film, though i doubt it somehow.
edit: Sorry, naff wording.

Actually, if you go in the order the books were written in, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe was the first.
