Is there any way to lower a pets weight? My Lupe weights just as much as my Bruce, and I just don't see how that can be healthy for the poor Lupe. :P

Where can you see pets' weights? I'd be interested to know how much mine weigh!

Click the link to your active pet, at the top of the page. Then, click your pets name, not their picture. :)

Well, your pet's weight doesn't really have an effect on its health. I think pets/items having weights was just one of those ideas they put on the site early on that never quite panned out. There are ways to make your pet gain weight, but I can't think of how to make it lose weight offhand.

Oh, now I see. Ok, well my Scorchio weighs 87lbs, my Flotsam weighs 21lbs, and my Bruce weighs 129lbs! It's a bit worrying that my bruce is so much heavier than my scorchio - I always imagined my scorchio to be the biggest... o_O

Ah, thanks for the reply.

My Lupe is 132 lbs, and my Bruce is 136 lbs. :\

You can see who's taller by looking at their heights xP

also those stats don't change if the pet is morphed in any way by a morphing potion, trans mog potion, magical plushie, RE, or through labbing...so they may be distorted. They are also based upon the original views and since jetsams and flotsams were goldfish sized originally they're still shown to be small, and eyries were a lot larger awhile back too...

I think also that before you could use Grundo's Gym to make your pet lose weight but that was a long time ago and I forgot what it actually did :)

I think all of the pets are too fat. If your pet weighs more than you, there's a problem. I suggest we get whoever made Kirstie Alley lose all that weight in here.

Sorry to drag up an old topic. I just read the neopets editorial this week and I thought I'd mention the bit where it says about eating certain foods can change your pet's weight:

Yep! Let's see... feeding your Neopet a BBQ Porkwich will make it weigh more, and a Pumpkin Negg will make your Neopet shorter and weigh more! There are lots of different foods like this. You'll just have to try them out and see!

So if you always wanted a short fat pet then feed it Pumpkin Neggs!!

I wonder which other foods have an effect on pets weights, does anyone know?

Yes, I believe that is true; I don't really think there is a way to increase or decrease your pet's weight. It doesn't really make a difference anyway :P

Oh it is true. These foods do work. Check out my pet L_E_phunk the Skunk Elephante

Age : 1267 days old (30415 hours)
Gender : Female
Height : 34 cms.
Weight : 206 lbs.

So she is about a foot tall and weighs over 200 pounds. She has enjoyed a special bbq porkwich diet.

Here's the link if you want to visit her. http://www.neopets.com/search.phtml?sel ... =L_E_phunk

I have a thread here: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24877 with all the ways (I think anyway) to change pet's statistics, including weight and height. :)

Weight
BBQ Porkwich
Pumpkin Negg (+1-2 lbs)
Earth Faerie Quest

Height
Pumpkin Negg (-1-2 cm)
Lolly Snot

As far as we know, you can make your pet shorter, but not skinner, lol.
