Which I haven't seen. I'm wondering if I should... I can probably handle the violence, but I don't see movies to be thrilled or whatever. I'm interested in Jack the Ripper, but that's not why I want to see it...

I'm interested in the cameo. Is it worth it?

I was so lame when I saw it though, I covered my eyes just about every time the dramatic music started.
It's rather gruesome, but if you don't mind stitched up woman - then it's a good watch.

Okay, thanks to the Almighty Wikipedia, I have discovered that it is a book, too... I think I'd rather read the book, probably, considering that the book, too, has the cameo.

If you're interested in Jack the Ripper....well, it's entertaining, but it's not particularly accurate.

As Igg said, the movie is very enjoyable, but not very historically accurate. But honestly, it's a good movie on it's own. Very gripping storyline too. Oh yea, and there's drugs. Can't forget them

So... I might read the book, buuuut... no.

Ah. That 'cameo'. It's not really a cameo. It's just really to show people what people back then were like. If you're only gonna watch it for that, then there's no point in watching it because it has nothing really to do with the storyline. The rest of the movie is good, but that bit's just bad.
