I got a fake ugly jacket which was to throw me off

then the real jacket which is like the old one I've had for years that is getting ratty, however it's not as warm or as expensive.

a huge box of choxie chocolates that I had been dying to try since target got them and the commercials came out.

$30

a pair of socks that are christmas themed which match my mom's and the ones she got my sister.

a huge pack of gum from costco so I can finish killing the one front tooth that is probably going to have to be pulled :(. Bye to my good teeth and smile :(

oh and best of all, my mom cleaned my bathroom and vaccumed my room so I wouldn't have to!

oh and I also got a stomach ache, bigger love handles, double chin and saddlebags :)

I think that's it :), over all a pretty decent christmas :D. Merry christmas all :D

I got my Anvil :) and my major christmas wish which was to be home. *hugs home* It smells like Christmas, feels like Christmas, but sadly my family is split to the four winds right now, so I don't know when i'll see whom if I even get to see them.

Christmas cheer to all though! And Merry Anvil giving day!

No-one really pandered to my Phantom obsession at all. D: But!

I got, well, clothes...

And a stupid algebra workbook (gee, thanks, mom)

And a book on hieroglyphics, and a book on learning Greek, and a book about pirates...

Then!

My sister got me the novel of Wicked.
I got also The Stupidest Angel and a low-budget film of The Inspector General...

Wicked, particularly, and one or two shirts (black, red, green) made me quite happy... one, I swear, has a grey-tinged version of the mask on Fidd's av.

AND THEN!

The last I opened was the best, and the cheapest (tied with the enormous pack of hair things I got in my stocking):

The Christine Sparks novelization of the Elephant Man movie!

Which means innaccuracies, but... gooooooooooood.

First, I have to say I have the sweetest brothers in the world. I told my mother to let them know that I wouldn't have money to exchange gifts with them this year. This happened a few years back as well, when one of my brother's and I both couldn't afford gifts, so we just didn't exchange them at all. But both of my brother's are financially secure, so even though I wasn't able to get anything for them, they gave presents to my husband and I. I was so touched. I'm going to try my hand at making desktop wallpapers, I think, just to see if I can find a little way to say 'thank you.'

Anyway, onto the gifts. ^_^

Azumanga Daioh Let's Sing (CD)
Pretty Soldier Sailormoon Sailorstars Best Song Collection (CD)
1,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong...The Premiere Collection (CD)
Mylene Farmer 'Avant que l'ombre' (CD)
Warriers of Legend: Reflections of Japan in Sailor Moon (book)
Azumanga Daioh Vol. 1 (manga)
Pretty black sweater
$100
$25 Wal-Mart gift card (which will pay for groceries next week)
$25 Barnes and Noble gift card (which will go nicely with the $50 gift card my husband received)

And my favorite gift?
5-piece handpainted stoneware tea set. It's absolutely beautiful...I couldn't believe just how thoughtful my brother was when he picked that out for me.

There are times when I wish I could escape my family...but they really made us feel special today, making sure we didn't get left out of the Christmas exhange because of our difficult financial situation.

This really cool chocolate thing.

It was like.. 7 different kinds of hot chocolate, with 2 big mugs, and a bar of chocolate.

It was from the neighbors, so I won't complain.

But I gave...
All my old tack (Hm. Let me make a list, for my own use not because anyone here will read it since I'm rambling and no one cares what I have to say.)
My second excersize saddle, I don't like the design. Like new. Used it for half a season and hated it.
3 New Racing Bridles, which I don't need because I don't race.
3 English Pleasure Bridles, since I don't show.
2 Western Pleasure Bridles, don't ride western.
My old western saddle, don't need it because I can't ride western anymore. Only used 4 times.
8 or 9 fool halters.. Which they said they would take back if they didn't fit but they WOULDN'T.
Oh! All my old English clothes, including my $700 Johdpurs which are probably worth around $400 but look like new. And all my other stuff.
All my hunter wraps.
Stirrup Leathers which I won't use anymore since I broke 3 fingers with them.
My old jumps.
Leads, random halters,
My old horse blankets that I don't need anymore since I went from 7 horses to one.
Medicine I don't need anymore since I have new.
Hmm, thats about it for tack. If I sold it I could get $4000-5000, but tis the season to be jolly! It went to a stable that's starting up, and they asked me if I had anything I could lend them, so I just gave it to them. And bits of that went to various friends who were lacking gear.

On to normal presents that I gave.

Toaster Oven to the poor poor people down the street who can only have toast and cold soup.
My seatbelt gaurds which my friend oh-so-adores.
Hand knitted scarf.
All the money I made in March went to charity. So around $3000, can't remember exactly.
Airline tickets to my friend who wants to visit but can't pay.
Uh.. Ovenmits to my mom-like-figure.
George Foreman Grill (and accessories.)
Jewelery!
Gum
A bag my friend really wanted
Mints
My LV Bag my friend wanted... So damn ugly.
