Do you know when you're gonna get this and many other hacks from the old forum onto here? I really miss them.

I like pickles, I like cheese, I like climbing lobster trees!

I assume they'll be added back when the admins have time. They have lives, you know ;)

They do? Wow, I thought their lives were totally devoted to making PPT perfect and wonderful! j/k....

But the name change hack is more important anyway. For reasons. *cough*CCC*coughcough*ASP*cough*

Strangely enough, they do :P

And I've said many times, I personally don't think the name change hack needs to come back. It's not vital to the running of the CCC or the ASP. It's more a nuisance to most members when there are massive name switches.
And I believe many of the staff don't want it back, either.

Gone, forever.

Please don't go into that again. It's already been implied, if not stated, that the name-changing hack won't be back. No one except for those who 'needed' it for various activities enjoyed its presence, with the exception of the holidays when people wanted to be festive.

Back on topic, I would like to see the personal quote back again. I wouldn't see why it can't come back. Last time you had to reach a certain post count (I think it was 50) before you could use it; if the hack returns will that remain in place?

I believe I can say that it will be back in good time, just have to be a bit patient on it returning (there are a few things that are higher priority than that at the moment)

o.O Ssh, Rune, don't worry about it. Lives are overrated anyway. Jobs, family, school, "irl" friends, who needs all of that when you have miles and miles of forum to explore?

Whoa. I have a life and a job, I have firends, and I go outside very often, Yet, I still have bad eyesight, am freakishly pale, have horrible people interaction skills, and am fat, so i'd say your perception of what having a life means is a bit off.

Really, I don't care if the personal quote thing comes back or not. It was nice, but I rarely used it. Still, I guess it's good for crediting people for sets to save sig space. [wanders off]

Pale? Not in this lifetime. Fat? Not yet. I've got one more month left to work on that.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

Eh, I have a life. It's not that great. I go to work, go to school, have a few friends, a car, etc. Although, I am fat and have horribly "people skills", that's not because I spend too much time on the internet. ;P

Personally, I'd rather not. When you sign up for most places, you only get one username. You don't get to change it. In fact, PPT remains the only place I've ever been that allows you to change your name constantly. Another place where you don't get to change your name much won't kill, I'm sure. Although if the name hack doesn't come back, it would also be nice to let new members know they can use capitals. I didn't know I could do that until some time after I joined, or that I could have spaces. (I was just tensnow when I joined, thinking it was a one and only time.)

Actually, there is a hack I'd like soon and if it doesn't bother the admins too much - the prune hack to prune after a week, like old times. In both boards I moderate, locking is an important part. I'm expecting Role Play to have quite a few after a day or two and WG&C is already fluffy with them. Anyway, I understand it takes time so I don't mind waiting longer. I appreciate it all anyway. :)
