Name, please

#1 Post by discharger12 »

A name is currently being advised for a forum I'm working at, but it needs a name. I was hoping if someone could help me with a good idea. The forum is tight-lipped at the moment, but it's about guidance for teens to young adults and such. So, if anyone has any ideas, I'd be extremely greatful. :)

And a bit off-topic, (I didn't really know how to state this in another thread) but I can't believe how much the main site has changed. I remember back in 01-02 it was much different. I wonder if anyone remembers me? My old account was deleted ages ago...

Do you intend for your forum to be secular, or is there a central focus, e.g. -- neopets, anime, et cetera? Or both?

You have any other staff members to discuss with? That's what I did -- someone ended up coming up with a cool name.

There was a forum I went to called Project-Ion. It doesn't exist anymore. Interested?

Try putting together a pair of words that may not normally go together, but which sound good together anyway. An example of this is: "Cold Clockworks". And no, you can't use that one =P

Ooh, bully me, I'm sorry. I mean't it wasn't not secular, but aimed at, as I said, the forum is aimed at guidance... so something warm, yet at the same time, towards what the aim of the forum.

Our own members are having trouble thinking of anything, so I felt that everyone as creative as the PPT group could help.

Just throwing stuff out here (no warranty as to its cool-ness, but have quickly googled to make sure there aren't other forums of the name):

Daybreak

Exculpation

Path less taken; Road less travelled; Lesser-known Path

Infinity Renowned

Infraconscious(ness)

Grasp

Thanks :)

If you want discharger, I can conjure up some more from the mysteries of my unconscious.

By the way, I haven't been able to find a forum called 'Cold Clockworks'... ;)

Grasp is good; It kind of gives you an idea as to the point of the forum.

To get a grasp. I like that a lot.

Ah I see.

*Cracks knuckles* OK here we go:

Dispel

No Illusions

Amache (mache = battle, a- makes it negative, hence it means "The state of not being at war")

Halcyon Days

Tell!

Speak!

Elusive Touch

Elusive Truth

Descant

Ectropy (compare "Entropy")

New Leaf

Leaf Anew

Lost Thoughts *ducks*

Well maybe don't use that last one. :>
