I think chris meant the manner in which the hurt is performed - not how much the hurt.. well hurts

Hurt: Pikachu by using a whole roll of duct tape to attach ol' Pika onto the bottom of Snorlax after being let out of the pokeball.

It has become clear that it doesn't manner how you word your Hurt or Heal, just as long at the action is clearly implied.

All the remaining are very good characters, except Pikachu. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, and as GM, I say yours is...

... vaild. From a very (3-5 month) old Nintendo Power, it is very possible to play 25 games and have 25 different characters (counting Zelda and Sheik as one) win. I really hope we can cause that to happen here.

I've always considered Link, Samus, Pikachu, and Zelda as characters that re in the "middle" of the pack. Each can be played well, but they also have glaring weaknesses that can be taken advantage of (well Link probably has the least of these as he's well-rounded, not gleaming in any one area). Shiek would rightfully kick their butts.

Too bad she's going to die. ;_;

I usually play with one character out of each "chunk" of the pack. Fox or Shiek from the top, Pikachu or Roy from the middle, and Ice Climbers or Mewtwo from the bottom (I think they're bottom... don't remember, haven't played much in a while).

I also think Samus and Link are over-used, so they deserve to die. >=D (oh, and Link is almost as bad as Cloud or Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7, he wins just about every contest he's in, so he must not win this one. >=D.) Heck, I'll be happy as long as Link goes bye-bye, Samus can stay.
